Cub Foods is a local grocery store here in Bloomington. Tonight my husband and I decided to stop on our way home from meeting a friend. Hubby needed some drinks and combs, so we stopped and got that. I bagged up everything and didn’t realize he didn’t grab the combs and neither did I. So I called them right away within 10 minutes. 10 minutes is not that long to call them to find out if the combs where lift behind. I got a hold of customer service and indeed they said we lift them and to come back and pick them up. Okay no big deal.
What surprised me is their practice at Cub Foods, I am sorry I believe it stealing and have to admit I am very disappointed in them. When we had gotten to Cub Foods, I went to the same register I checked out at and was told to go over to Customer Service so I walked over there, thinking the combs would be there. Wrong! They told us to walk back over and grab them from the shelf and we could have it. I asked why was the item restocked when it had been purchased and paid for. I am sure if I were to buy satellite radios from Best Buy or somewhere like that they would hold on to it until I got back to the store. But I am pretty sure if Cub sold something like that they’d restock it and oh yeah to bad we won’t credit your account we’ll get double pay for what we done.
Personally I think when a person purchases something it aught to not be placed back on the shelf for at least 24 hours, this way when a person walks away from what they bought it’s not lost to them. Grant it when we came back they made sure we got a package of combs but still the principle is that they reshelf a item which was purchased already, and we all know they weren’t going to credit our account. This in my book is as bad as stealing or being dishonest and I do not like it when companies are being shady with me. In this economy we need upstanding companies which can be trusted! I do not feel I can trust a store like Cubs now with what has happened.

What is Sony thinking is what I would like to know. Sometimes games break, we expect it to happen especially if you play the same game frequently. I have always found it amazing that you can download games, on to either the PSP or PS3 this is a good thing, but it would be better if they would not charge the same amount as the stores do. One game hubby has over played and he found out Sony is asking for the same price as for the game itself. Okay so you download the game on the system, there no hard copy, so why are we paying the same amount, there’s no shipping fee, and their is no 3rd party fee neither. So why must they charge the same amount for games on line, there is less involved. The only thing is there might be download time but shoot you’d think it be a little cheaper.
I know downloaded music files cost less then the CD from the store. Most companies are simply over charging for there products. Some good game for just giving the brain some rest are the brain teasers and the driving games. Atlease if you crash one of those cars you won’t need to go and ask for help from Morristown personal injury lawyer, because that crash affects no one. The fun thing with games is there are no real consequences in life. I do like Fable because the creator makes consequences for the character. I think for younger players it’s good to have the characters suffer for their choses. This might teach some kids, I will say that Fable didn’t get parenting a child correctly there.

Let me start by saying normally I am not a political type of person, I prefer not to be involved. Funny thing is I have served for my district, don’t get me wrong it wasn’t horrible but I wouldn’t want to do it again. It’s not my cup of tea, but maybe I need a change of attitude because I am getting sick and tired of things. This week has been very rough, I have bad allergies and when they get bad I simply can’t breath. Normally my doctor gives samples because I do not make a lot of money. Now I can’t even get medical help, because they claim we make to much money. Hmm like to see them live on my budget for 2 weeks, they’d see just how much money I have left over for medical stuff. I wish I had insurance but I can’t afford it and often it’s came to choosing to eat or having my asthma meds. This week, it was choosing to breath, more then having other things met, speaking of that I have to pay direct TV. Bet that guy happy with me because I got a little snippety with him when he didn’t listen to me that I would pay when I got home.
Yesterday I went to the doctor I was unable to breath and was feeling like maybe I had caught something from a little kid. So they ran their test let’s not even think about what that’s going to cost me. Doctor looked in my ears and said you have fluid in your ears, I told her yup they been feeling full. It’s hard to explain but when my allergies get bad my ears get fluid in them, it’s not really painful just annoying. She got me a few prescriptions which I was glad she done that for me. It helps because 2 of the meds she put me on would cost more then I make in a month. For my rescue inhaler she didn’t have them. I bet I know why because the big name brand don’t wanna give up their profits. Okay no big deal I can afford my rescue inhaler at least I thought it used to be about 30$. I just about freaked out when I found out the med my doctor prescribe was 60$, the pharmacist knows me and my family, so she knows our situation. What I’d like to know how am I going to make ends meet for almost 2 weeks on 19 bucks. Recently we took in dad, and my husband on meds also. So when I told my pharmacist I don’t have that type of money. she said she call the doctor office and see if she can get another substitute which would be lower cost. I spend half of today dealing with this. By the time I started feeling very ticked off and feeling like a vacation at Las Vegas hotels might be a good idea, maybe I could gamble and win my medications.
I finally told both my clinic and pharmaceutics it should not be this hard for me to get a asthma med that I can afford. Well at the pharmacist I found out something. Okay, I love my Country, but frankly I am getting sick of the stupidity of those who make decision for us. The Government and their global warming people are causing people like me not to be able to get the medicines we could afford because you know what they just did pretty much said gee you now get to have the name brand meds. Now I will be honest and say I believe in some of the Global warming hip but I disagree with a lot of it too. To bad if you can’t afford it because your asthma meds is hurting our Ozone layer! Give me a Break! The administration said they’d like to make Medical stuff more reachable my thoughts to that is bull-crap, in no way does me having to get a name brand product makes it easier for me to seek medical attention when I needed it. It makes it harder me to get the medications I need to be able to breath. Sorry I might not be good at taking my meds because they are simply to expensive all together but I do try to keep the rescue inhaler. My feelings is would it not have been easier to let the pharmaceutical companies keep their generics and give them a dead line instead of pulling all the meds off the shelf. This was a dumb move by our law makers.
By the way I am using my constitutional rights to speak freely. It’s great having that right that my father and father in law fought for.

Okay maybe not so new but it’s newer here in my neighborhood. I am glad they moved in a Subway because it made it easier for me to get dinner. I decided on Thursday it was time for me to try it. I had class and had tutoring before so I wanted something that would hold for the drive to school and for the tutoring session before class. I have a 1/2 hour before class begins to eat so that simply not enough time.
I walked in, boy their store is smaller then what I am used to but they are in a stripe mall. I think Subway and Famous Daves might help keep that stripe mall a live. It’s a good thing Subway moved in, I believe they are where the fish tackle place was. I order my sub, it was a veggy I didn’t want to trust meat because that can’t be out as long as veggies so my sub had no mayo. It was still good, I used oil and grab a few mayo packets. Now I will say I missed the mustard.
Customer service was good, and I was waited on and out of there within a reasonable amount of time. So having them so close makes it good. I wonder what liporexall reviews are and what it is for.

Lets face it most restaurants we choose are not a good way to fat burner. Friday night we decided to take dad for Chinesse Dad claims he don’t like that type of food, just like he don’t like lamb, chicken or turkey. It’s funny he always says he don’t like things but ends up eating all his food and enjoying it well commiting how good the food is there.
Last night I order the cashew chicken and they tried giving me the Peanut chicken. No thanks to that, I am not a fan of cooked peanuts, cashews on the other hand works well good.
I guess the waitress misunderstood or her cook it. Overall the food was good.
The bathroom I don’t much care for because I think it just don’t look clean, not that it is not clean just doesn’t look clean to me.
The good thing about Great China Buffet you can either order the buffet or something off their menu. We prefer the menu because it cheaper. The best thing about them is that their pop is reasonable and the food is servered hot and tastes good too.

Recently my hubby and my DVD player started having problems. Normally we shop at Best Buy for Electronics but we wanted to save some money. Since dad has been living with us I am making far less money because dad needs someone to take care of him during the day so I work part time. I am also a college student, don’t ask me what the word rest is because I’ll probably tell you time to do homework or laundry.
Hubby and I first looked at Target but there was no one who could answer our questions about DVD players and well we wanted a little help. I suggest strongly we try Ultimate Electronics, because of their commercials claiming they checked prices with Best Buy and Wall-Mart, I figured they would be a little cheaper.
They treated us very well there, we later decided to talk to them about TVs because soon we want to get a new TV they treated us as good as a Westgateheaven. The young man who was helping us decide on which DVD player we wanted help us look at Tvs and see the difference between them. I have a Favorite brand a a couple I will accept. One thing my hubby and I realize while at Wall-Mart, is that well they may carry the same brand but that doesn’t mean ultimate electronics carries the same models of TV or products so how are they able to price match.

This weekend we went for dinner. The first place we tried was Perkins right next to us. They had changed their menu, and well they aren’t as careful as they used to be. My husband wasn’t impressed with the waitress, she seemed short and not like she cared enough in his opinion. I didn’t see it the same way, because I figured she didn’t have to run to the kitchen to ask if maybe she saw them frying the pork in the same grease.
They took off the chicken pot pie which I really like, so pretty much if I didn’t want breakfast I wasn’t going to be eating so we decided to leave. Dad and hubby both wanted to walk out with out paying for the drink. I decided to ask for the bill for the drink and the waitress there said she’d take care of it. Hubby didn’t like the way she interacted with us and felt that was the only good thing she did.
I will say the Perkins by us has lost their newest to them and has lost some of their appeal. We did end up finding somewhere to eat, and had a good dinner that night.
The dinner was as good as all the dinners I had on my Orlando vacations, and we each got what we wanted. Dad and I both order a combo from the other place and hubby had his yummy stake nachos. We ended up going to a Mexican restaurantthat night. The most frustrating thing about Perkins menu change is that takes off another restaurant I used to eat at and not have problems. Pretty soon I won’t be able to eat.

Dad was on Classic checking which means when you don’t met the daily balance minimum than you get charged with services fees. I call was to make sure I was doing the bill pay correct and not causing myself trouble with finding out geee you really can’t do this. Bill pay isn’t hard to use with my bank Associated it actually quiet simple and not hard at all. I wanted to make sure dad medical bills would be taken from his account and not mine.
I spent a little time explaining to her what I was wanting to do. She made sure I got it right. Now I do not want to see dad being charged services fees at all. I like my advantage checking account because I can get OD Protection and save on the OD fees this has helped me. I been trying to put in 25 every paycheck into saving. I am going to continue trying to do that. My husband wants me to open dad a saving account also I need to make sure I can handle doing that first I already have 3 accounts to keep straight.
To bad Associated Bank does not offer debt consolidationI could really use some help with dad and me and hubby. I am not planning on throwing dad debt in with ours because the simple fact is I can not offord to pay his many debts. The customer service person from Associated Bank did a great job at answering my question. When I had hung up with her I thought dad would end up with classic checking, but she called me back after doing some looking into and told me it might be best to also put dad on advantage checking. I am glad she called back and told me what she had found out. It helps to know I can trust my bank when I call them with questions and get the wrong answer.

I have to say I am stuck on this game and it is still the very beginning or well close enough to call it the beginning. My hubby and I like the PS3 version of Prince of Persia and really enjoyed it and had high hopes of really liking this one.
Lets see we got it and hubby got stuck and I told him I would try it later, and I got stuck in the exact same spot. Now neither one of us can seem to claim up the status head, to get to the first thing. I can’t even ell you how many times I have died on this game, aught to be called Prince of death, sands of times, because some parts of it is nearly impossible. So hopefully someone will read this and now the status I am talking about and be able to tell me how to finally get past the same point.
The intro to the story is very short and you got control your character right away which is good. He explains what needs to be done but not how to claim up the walls. For being a PS2 game this has some cool graphics. Lets see a couple of there camera things do not make sense to me like being able to make the camera do a very zoomed out and you can’t see where he is at so it just don’t make since. It would be like looking at Ferrari parts from a distance and trying to decide what parts you want.
So far I like but hate the game. I think the PS3 version is so much easier so it shows the creators did a great job at improving the controls. So the controls are hard for jumping the walls this is the hardest part of the games the battles are not to hard. I haven’t died in any fights I’ve died only by falling down from high heights boy I miss my princess who kept saving me.
So if anyone knows the trick to jumping between the wall and the statue please leave me a comment and tell me how to get up the wall.

Not sure catching no fish is really good fishing, but I felt it was good fishing still. This weekend one of our friends from our congregation told us about Alma Boat Float. Alma Boat Float is located in Alma WI, but to fish at their dock either a Minnesota or Wisconsin licence will work, because their dock is in the water, and I guess it Federal waters. It is a little over 100 miles from the MOA which is great because even though it’s well south of the cities and I believe the water would be cleaner, it’s still close enough to home. It took us a little under 2 hours to drive there even with taking a wrong turn and missing our exit and driving past it.
We brought dad a long with us and he really enjoyed himself too. It’s 15$ for taking the ferry over to the dock. There’s a tiny dock that you wait on for the fairy to go across the water. This was the only really unsettling part, I was more worried about dad or someone falling off. It’s right next to railroad tracks there’s a set of two there and boy those trains move fast, and to be honest there’s no real warning a train is on it’s way so we had to be mindful. When the train goes by, boy that little dock really rocks which is amazing because you’d think a river water would not be affected by a train. Alma is right near where the Pepin lake comes into the Mississippi. Even if you don’t enjoy fishing the drive is worth it, it is beautiful and majestic, plus they have different types of shops. I have never been down there so I was amazed. Some parts of it reminded me of a town in my home state, there are definitely some nice cliffs and hills, and plenty of trees with the lake we passed with plenty of boats on it that day it would have made a great painting.
We got to the fish float dock, and waited for the ferry, we waited for about a half hour because we came a little later in the morning, the earier the better. To bad they don’t make pills for sun screen protection like they make best diet pills. I need to find some kind of good sun screen that my skin won’t break out to, I am not as burned as I could have been but I did get a little to much sun. Normally I do not burn more then once a year but I think on a river I might end up being more easily burned especially if it’s a clear day on the river.
My husband caught a few fish, none we could take home, he had a wallie or something which isn’t in season, and a bass of some kind which was way to tiny and not in season, and 2 sheephead fish. We where told if we got sheephead to throw back because they are not worth eating. Found out later they are all bones and no meat, doesn’t sound interesting to me.
Habits are hard to break, because I keep trying to fish, with the style of fly fishing but when you’re not using the right pole for that, that technique doesn’t work as well. I almost caught 3 fish but LOL they caught my worm and ran away. I gotta figure out a better way to get them on the hook and keep them there.
The water was pretty clean and you could see a bunch of little tiny fish by the dock swimming.
I will say I am impressed with the owners, it would be very easy for them to take advantage of their visitors but they didn’t. They where reasonable, which made us happy. We needed Minos and I like fishing with worms, I can’t seem to keep the mino on my hook LOL they get stolen very quickly, so I prefer worms which is the first type of bait I used, and what I seem to have more luck. Even though on the dock the only place to get bait was from them there prices were very reasonable.
Dad got hungry and didn’t want another p&j sandwich and asked for a hot dog, I went over there and got dad a hot dog, it was only 2.75$ which is good because we all know some places would charge more then that for a hotdog. Later that day hubby and I got hungry, and I had a grill cheese and a side of fries, and hubby had a cheese burger. I was surprised it was only 4.25 for his burger, because had he got fries it would have been only 5.25 I want to say or maybe a little over 6 bucks I can’t remember, by the end of our day, we spend 19 between minos, worms and food 3 of us which was very good. Dad said he wanted to go back, so maybe we won’t have to go to the casino so much this summer, but I will have to make sure that I have homework completed some how because Sundays are usually get done with homework or at least a good percentage of it. We stayed fishing for about 6 hours casino usually we leave at 4ish and return at 9ish, and it’s only a 45 minute drive.
I would recommend this to families like my hubby and I who don’t exactly have a lot of money to spend but want to go fishing out on the river and can’t afford the boat rental, Alma Fish Float would be a good place for Fishing with friendly people, and the owner seems like a good guy.. This was a lot cheaper then a boat rental, and it was better I think. The dock had plenty of places to sit down, and we didn’t even need dad’s chair we got him for sitting. There are a lot of stairs so I would say this is not handicap accessible to you need to be able to handle stairs and getting off the boat. Dad is 86 years old so this is a little bit of a challenge for him, but he was able to handle it, now my grandma I would never take her here because she don’t have the ability to walk.We might a few regulars and it was just a great experience all around. They even have a place you can stay for the night if you wanted. I am not sure if I would really want too with hubby and dad but it could be fun.
