Opinion on Eternal Sonata
My husband and I decide to get a new game, with our trade in credits there where a couple that we wanted. One was 10 bucks more then what we had for trade in credit and the other one lift money in it was used. We went for Eternal Sonata. I have enjoyed playing it even though sometimes I get frustrated with it.
The world is in a dream world of Chopin, okay I was a music major in college for a few years. This is why I was interest in the game. It starts out with a girl jumping off of a cliff. In dream word if your going to die soon that the only time you can use magic. Kind of a sad story line but fits with Chopin, who wasn’t of good health to begin with. He was very creative in music.
I like how they have the game both action and turn based, and that it has clear chapters. It is easy to learn what is wanted because it shown in the screen so if you want a special attack it easy to know which one you will be using. There are 2 types of special attacks nighttime and daytime attacks they are very effective on taking down your enemies. It is easy to upgrade your team uniforms because their are treasure for doing that.
There is one thing I do not like about the game. It seems that they put you in your first boss battle why before your characters are ready to fight it. My first boss battled I died right away. My character was live 3 I believe. I decided to go back through the sewers and build up my characters, I got them to live 6 and went back and was able to defeat it. Most of my boss battles where very hard to complete so far, but I was able to get them on the first try. Taking down a boss is easier if you mainly use special attacks and have your healer polka in light so she can heal the team.
The landscape of dream world was very pretty, and like every game there’s a villain the king or count, I honestly do not say any different between a count and a King.
