Boy I didn’t think I would conquer it this fast
Boy, I didn’t think I would conquer it this fast. I played 9 hours and 15 minutes, I really wish the makers of G-d of War would have made it longer and had more story and play to it. Don’t get me wrong it a good hand held game, but it would have been nice to see the story about his family expanded, maybe after his redemption or saving the world and G-d he would be able to fight for his Daughter respect back.
It would have been nice to have the temple of Zeus longer to, to make it more of a maze and have to figure your way out more. It was fairly simple, as far as figuring out where you were to go. The battling level seems to be very well placed, I did first easy, and now I am on hard, and it’s hard. It not so hard that you can’t beat it but some of your boss battles take a little longer and are harder to kill right away. It seems the codes go a little faster and that is hard for me not sure why, my hubby does well at that stuff. This is the 3rd game I have played on my PSP not counting Sudoku, which I don’t think I will ever complete there are just so many games to play on that one between easy, medium and difficult. I think there might be another one on there to which the board is clear, but back to G-d of War.
The beginning battle would have been nice to not fight that lizard thing right out of the gate almost, it would have been nice to play for a while before being in main battles, and making those battles maybe a little harder to beat or longer in the fight…. I think it would have been fun to make him search for more then he did, to make the story line move. Maybe it would have been nice to give a choice to kill them ghost who were at peace or find another way to get back his power. Make him a true hero or a villain which he was more of with just one choice.
The graphics where great, the Ghost of Sparta yes he looked human, but when he was the Ghost he had red markings on his body, otherwise he looked real. His daughter look just about life like and walked like she was real. I think they did a great job of graphics and getting their soldiers looked real. I would have loved to see this on my tv, because it would maybe look like watching a movie when someone playing a game grant it a very silent movie.
Sometimes I enjoy watching my husband play expecially on games that think it cute to put white on white or light gray. We are playing a game like that where I almost need him to read the story out loud for me so I can actually read it. Close colors I struggle with seeing. I found the words fairly easy to read on G-d of war, but it was nice hearing them tell the story while the words were appearing. I think hearing it read sometimes is better then just reading it, because sometimes it just sticks better that way.
