Tonight my hubby and I decided it would be a good time to watch the bee movie. I have played a little bit of the game which I will write about later, but right now I am going to talk about the movie.

This movie I would say any age could watch, it has basically no violence unless you call a Bee being slap with paper violent.  This movie is more structured to the younger view age group, I believe but adults can relate to it to a point. Barry the main bee is trying to decide what he wants to do for work until he dies, and decides to sneak out of the hive acting as a Pollinator then he meets a human girl.  He and human girl gets close and becomes friends.  They  land a plane together later, with a bunch of other bees. Okay, we all know that if a Bee was flying that close to a plane they would be sucked into the engine and well be plane kill.

There was nothing I did not like about the movie it was all good, type of movie to watch when you just want to relax and not really think of nothing. There’s a law of no talking to humans so you can imagine how the bees who found out reacted and his best friend. Best friend ended up losing his stinger, but hey serves him right for losing his temper. In a strange way it shows kids, that losing their temper isn’t wise.

One thing I thought was neat in the movie was the Star of David kites the bees had to navigate through. So far by what I can tell the movie and the game are similar, which is good. I kind of regret not watching the movie before starting the game. It would have made the movie a little more interesting for me I think. Barry eventually got a job, he was happy doing, and he became a bee lawyer. I think the movie was cute, and would let my youngest nephew watch it with out worrying about him. My nephew is about 3 years old now. There would maybe be a few things that would go over his head but it is a safe movie for youngsters to watch.
