Say What I Think

What do you do with a cat with a sensitive stomach. Otis my cat is a 20 pound male cat, he is sweet. When I first got him, I had him on a couple different brands but he kept throwing them up. I took him to the vet and vet said there was nothing wrong. We don’t need to talk about the cat litter smell after he used it. I tried a few things for Otis but nothing seemed to really work well unless I made everything for him and lets face it, I don’t always have time to cook for the cat, let alone myself.
Some of the cat foods out there are like a colon cleanse for the cat, very unpleasant when it not needed. A few years back I had to rush Otis to a emergency vet because I had tried some hairball remedy which he had a allergic reaction to. I was talking to the vet and he suggested another brand of cat food, it work for maybe a month or so and it was simply more money then I had to spend most months. I was talking to a friend who had a dog on Purina one, and seemed to be happy with it.
I went to the store looking for foods and decided to read the ingredients, well it looks better then most cat foods, and hey wait a minute they have a sensitive system Adult Cat food. Well now this might work well, and it did. Otis has been on Purina one for over 7 years now. He should be eating senior citizen catfood but I just can’t take him off of the sensitive system cat food. I don’t want to change him then have to switch him back. After putting Otis on Purina one Sensitive system he hardly throw up his food and well his kitty litter don’t smell toxic after he done with it.
Otis for a while had lost some weight from his stomach issues, he a large cat so he shouldn’t be to thin nor to fat. When he started loosing wait is when I decided to put him on it. I am glad with the out come with Otis on this cat food. Otis is 11 years old, and is still as active as when I had gotten him. I wish Purina made a senior sensitive system cat food this would be a good thing, maybe I am not the only one with a cat who is a senior keeping him on his diet because I know it works for him.
