Resurrecting the Champ

The Movie Resurrecting the Champ, was good; it had a lot of lessons in it to be learned. It was about a sports report who was about to be fired from his job because the internet was causing the paper to cut down on what they sent out, and because he was getting stall.
He had a son and his marriage was fulling apart. He found a old retired Boxer who he thought was the champ. The boxer never corrected him, but then again the boxer lost his family for the lies he was telling. The reporter was lying to his son about who he knew and caused his son some embarrassment in his class later in the movie.
This movie showed some of the inconsistence of lying and what damage it can cause to a person career and his family. The boxer was actually another boxer who fought against the champ and lost, he was always picked on in the movie, by some punks. I am sure he didn’t have cheap term life insurance. During the movie you couldn’t help but feel like this report should do more for his friend then just write a story about him, he should have helped him get more help but then again that wouldn’t have made the movie what it was. This movie would be good for most ages, I wouldn’t let a kid younger then 10 or 11 to watch it. I believe this movie received one strike out of three for using G-d name in vane, other wise there was no real problems with language. I would say it is the violence of the movie and the bulling that might make this movie harder for some to like.
