Last night my husband and I decided to try Umbria Gourmet Pizza here in Bloomington. We had never been there but had seen it little store a few times. The thing I would like to know is how they came up with Umbria, and what does it mean. It reminds both myself and hubby of a Umbrella, I wonder if that what’s behind the name.
They advertised that they sold pizza by the slice, more like one type of pizza by the slice. Last night it was Sausage, which isn’t going to happen for my husband or myself. We decided to go with their 8 inch personal pizza each. Their crust is fairly thick but it was good, although I do prefer another brand of crust. I older the Pineapple and my husband order the roast beef. Both of the pizza looked appealing to the eyes. I honestly can’t tell you what they smelt like because I can’t smell anything right now. The joys of late summer allergies.
The pineapples where huge and very nice looking. It tasted good to, my husband told me I could have more then pineapple but that’s all I wanted was a nice and sweet pizzza. The pizza tasted nice, they served it to us hot, but by the time it got home it wasn’t so hot. It still tasted good but what pizza can’t you just take right out of the freg and eat it.
My husband pizza looked like it had a fair amount of beef, no need to ask where’s the beef.
The customer service could have been improved a little but not to much. I guess since it was our first time they didn’t want to rush us but when we were asking question to each other, it would have been nice if they would have answered. When we went up to the counter they answer our question, and where polite. So maybe they just did not want to interrupt us.
I like Pizza so much better then massage therapy, comfort by food is the best.
