Old El Paso Gordita Dinner Kit

The other day when I went to Cub foods, I saw the Old El Paso Gordita Dinner kit. I know now since I am back in school, I don’t always have time to make my stuff from scratch and sometimes I need something which is quick. I decided I would try the Gordita Dinner kit, I saw it and felt hubby would like it.
it comes with 8 tortillas and ranch sauce and the season stuff. I want to say the seasoning to me tasted a little bit like cheese, it wasn’t overly spicy it was spiced for me just right. It wasn’t so hot that I needed to drowned it in sour cream. I gotta watch how much milk I eat. I am going to regret eating all this yogurt, sour cream and cheese, my stomach isn’t happy with that choice.
It takes about 20 minutes to make this little dinner, I ended up cutting up all my chicken meat. I needed something fast to do while I was waiting for my professor to call me, so I figured this would be the best. It would be easy enough to just put on simmer if I needed so I could talk to the professor about my questions.
The meat is not included in this they suggest chicken or beef. I would suggest also using grounded turkey meat. Turkey meat taste nice with this. I used chicken but I know turkey normally works well with anything that can be done with beef.
My husband and I both ate a little bit of Bussle boy lettuce which grows while it’s in the freg. The lettuce goes very nicely with Gordita dinner kit, because it’s better then ice burg which is normally used with meals similar to this one.
I did not eat any of the ranch sauce because I do not care for it, so I can’t commit on how that worked with the product. I know sour cream works well, I just simply can’t do ranch for some reason.
The nice thing about this is I don’t need a passport to have Mexican food.
