On Friday I have a Funeral for my Mother in law my heart is so heavy, eventhough I am trying not to show it. My best friend and I went to several places, and none of them had any black skirts. I was starting to get frustrated, we went to the Wal-Mart out in Eagan and I didn’t find any solid Black skirts, to be honest I didn’t find any skirts. Then we went to the department store next to it. Didn’t find anything.
The next place we tried was Southdale mall. Both of the stores we went to, we found a couple of skirts and dress but to me they said, “I’m happy your dead”, or “I’m so expensive, I’ll take a month of income.” Finally I got frustraited I found a nice black shirt, which I liked a lot and got it for 14 at that mall. I had asked in general at the mall “can’t I just find a black skirt. I told my best friend when I go down to Austin I will have to go to Wal-Mart Super Center. This was a very good idea.
Wal-Mart Super Center in Austin has a lot more clothing selection then any other store I went to. I looked for a few minutes and found 2 very nice black skirts, which said what I wanted to say. They where a true black and didn’t look to happy or to expensive for a budget. I found one I liked a lot and know would go nicely with the black top I had just gotten so I bought it. While walking in the store I realized it was a little bit seethrough so I had to get a slip I found one. Now I am all set for the funeral and have something that looks better. I missed work yesterday because we had to be in Austin to help dad with final arrangements.
Today I got to work and found out starting next week I will not have work. Good thing I found what I needed at Wal-mat and spent less then 25, along with gettign a couple of other items from there. I will have to start doing a job search again. I need something a lot more stable then this, our job needs have decreased so much, and I can’t be needed for a few weeks and then suddenly be with out work for up to a month.
