I think so far they have done a fairly good job of keeping with the story line although I have to say that some of the story doesn't exactly go with the book and leaves the viewers who have read the book to think okay what's this all about. So far I haven't hated anything, or been displeased, I am figuring the author of the Book is trying to give us a understanding of some of the relationships with Sookie, and Bill. So far I think they done good at keeping the store line, and honestly I think the last episode kept pretty close to Sookie and Bill, Bill did kill her uncle in the book.
