Say What I Think

I will say this movie is one of the worst vampire movies I have ever seen. Boy, I not being nice today on my reviews. I will say we have 6 of the 8 movies hubby got to review done and this is a good thing. I have seen other shows and movies do a far better job of creating vampires. Brotherhood of Blood wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t great, it’s not really a scary movie neither and has a lot of blood but not so much that it seems like it just gore but there is still a lot of blood.
I will say their mythology is a little different then what I am used to, I am used to the vampire jaw appearing normal until they decide it’s time to bite the person. I would say that even TRUBLOOD did better at creating their vampires then this movie did. Even to go back further BUFFY and ANGEL did better with their vampires and they are very old show with less technology then there is presently. The vampire teeth in this movie looked dall and to big.
There was a group of vampire hunters, I thought a vampire and hunter had another messy relationship and sure I was right. The vampire hunters looked for vampires and had their head quarters they had some security systems that looked like it would have worked great if it wasn’t so old. There house was broke into by the vampires, they captured one and did some torturing of him. It wasn’t to horrible.
There mythology was strange on how you contract vampirism, it was you had to be bite, all mythology I am familair with is that the vampire and victim had to trade blood at least once some are more. Some require the person to be totally drained almost then trade so not sure what these guys where thinking but okay maybe it’s another myth that not a well known one.
Do I recommend watching it not really, but it not horrible so I guess if someone wants to more power to them. I haven’t given away the end of the movie or anything. Considering in every movie with the vampire hunter there always a relationship that messed up.

I will say this movie was not worth it’s weight in salt. Last night my husband and I tried to watch ” The Last House in the Woods. I will say this isn’t viewing for a sensitive viewer. This movie from the start was very violent and graphic. I would say that they went over board.
The first sceen of the movie was a man and wife with their son, riding home, they hit a tree dad died. The mom went to try to call for help with her son, and a car came, she sent her son to hide in the woods this was probably wise of her to do or he would have been hit too. She was hit by the van intentionally. After she was hit the man came out and she was still a live so he bashed her head in with a rock. Then stuck her in the van, the kid saw all this, okay that was intense.
We kept it on through that, and watched it a little longer.
Be warned there is a Rape sceen which was not told about on the box of this movie. I think something like this needs to be put on the box considering the rape was very violent I will not talk about that sceen. About 5 minutes of that Scene I couldn’t take it anymore and had to turn off the movie.
I wouldn’t recommend this movie for anyone. This isn’t a good lets get scared this is a movie of simply gore and no creative planning. This was an unrated movie, sometimes unrated is okay but for the most it’s not. I would have recommended a rating of NC17, with a warning on violence.

I will say I am surprised at the level of dislike for this game I had. Normally I can play action games a lot longer then this one. Pretty much what the game is about a Ninja who is to save the princes who puts him in some type of progitory. She puts him there to keep him from dieing.
The first level wasn’t to bad, and was fairly easy to conquer except for the boss level battle. I was surprised how hard the boss battle was. The first battle is of this little old guy who head looks like a big brain. He shoots fire and runs. Here let me just give it away. Don’t let him run into while he running either job over him or stay on the rocks. This will help you avoid being killed. After you get him about half way dead he will turn into a hug baby, with big fire blowing out of his mouth. when he turns into a big baby with fire blowing out of his mouth stand on the highest rock on the right and then run and hit him a way times, make sure you get back on your rock before he turns into a baby and starts blowing fire out of his mouth.
The hero is trying to find the princess he was sent to protect, he didn’t do a very good job of protecting her to begin with. I will say the graphics where very good for a DS game and the controlls for the most were easy to use. I just don’t think they got the boss battles at a good level, they should be at least easy to cut down in the first part of the game, yes a bit of a challenge but not one that kills you over and over and seems to have no real way of beating it.

I think this is a foreign film actually I am positive it is. Room 205 seems to be about a college dorm room which is haunted by the girl in the mirror who gets released. This isn’t a very scary movie, and I am surprised it was rated R. I was surprised my husband and I watch it all the way through and not once did it hit a strike in our rules.
The person who I was thinking would be the most likely victim wasn’t a victim I was glad she wasn’t but she was fairly tramatized by the ghost. They would see the future in the mirror, or at least that they would die or something. It was strange because this girl was more suseptable to seeing this ghost.
It had some of the typical college guy girl stuff, and showed how sometimes men will act toward a girl after they do it, but frankly she should have never done anything with him, I think she might have realized this because of how she acted afterwards. The dorm played a prank on her and she broke the bathroom mirror realizing the ghost who was wanting revenge for what had happened to her. It didn’t come clear until toward the end of the movie why she was there causing trouble. A good portion of the main characters had this ghost revenge taken out on them but it looked like the ghost thing happened to her a long time ago. How horrible, I will say they where very tasteful in the sceen and didn’t show to much of it. I was glad because that the last thing I want to see or read about.
I wouldn’t say this movie is a keeper but it might be a good halloween movie if your not interested in Gore or gross stuff. I probably will never watch this movie again it good for maybe watching one time.

My husband lost his jacket at the clinic the other day when we went. They haven’t founded it yet, so yesterday we decided to stop at Savers on our way home. There were not very many coats for men of my husband size, and a couple of them look more like woman or a coat you’d see a pimp in. My husband tried one of those on and I told him the first thing that came to mind. He decided better listen which is wise. He found a nice dark blue long jacket, I better work on my scarf for him because it’s one of those which looks like a business jacket and the neck is opened.
I hate shopping, I think hubby loves shopping because he always wants to go shopping. Maybe it a good thing I don’t like it because if we both loved shopping we’d be in trouble. He even seems happy trying to help me shop for clothes but he has no concept of good fashion for a woman. I normally will take a friend with me and not him because I get down right cranky with him shopping. We found his jacket, and was at the check out counter. The lady a head of us asked if she could use a coupon on something which was 50 percent off, on a already on sale item. She decided not to use it. My husband asked her where she got the coupon and she told us. She for some reason decided to give my husband her 50 percent of coupon. This was very nice of her and we appreciated it. To be honest my husband didn’t have the money to spend on the coat but it was a need not a want. He had it but it was needed for other things. So having 50 percent off push the price down to what he actually wanted to spend. This was her good deed to me and my husband. The cashier person was also very nice to us while the lady a head of us looked for the coupon she didn’t even rush her or us to get through her line. She was fairly nice and patient which was nice.
Savers sometimes has some good deals, and sometimes they have some great outfits. Now some things shocked me like seeing they would actually put a couple things out which shouldn’t have been put out because they had holes, or were very used. Now when ever I buy clothes I wash them before wearing them, unless it a coat I will wear them until they start looking dirty. After we lift we started talking about his other coat the one that lost. I told him if someone walked out with it at the clinic, then they must of needed it more then him, and since we got the coupon it was like G-d providing us a way to aford the coat.
One thing you won’t find at Savers is Phentermine, I never seen anything like that not even pop at the front of the store for their thirsty customers.

Last weekend my husband and I watched this movie, we got it as a reviewable which I was a little surprised because it been out forever. It’s from M Night, and sorry I won’t attempt his last name. I have tired to watch this movie 3 times and finally was able to watch it all the way through. I had it on VHS but for some reason it didn’t play right and got staticy in the middle, then I rented it from Netflex, and it was damaged when it came to me. Finally one that wasn’t damaged.
Six sense is about a guy who a child psycologist, he wins a reward and get shot. After he shot he starts helping a boy deal with the same problem as the kid who shot him. I will say I was surprised that was Donnie Walburg, looked very different then he normally does. The boy sees dead people, and is not handling it well. Eventually they figure out he has to help the dead people, and does help with a child ghost.
Now I was able to figure out the guy who was working with the kid was dead about half way through the film. Here’s how, the only one who interacted with this him was the kid. His wife acted like he wasn’t around in the restaurant I found that strange at first but after a few more scenes of him not being responded to I was able to figure out he probably dead. I will say I didn’t figure it out within the first 20 minutes, sometimes I feel like a compact flash because I figure out the end plot of movies within 10 minutes. My husband sometimes will try to talk about new movies because he will read it, I don’t tell him I don’t want to her to be mean but because I want to enjoy it with him. Okay I can’t read reviews because then it would make no sense in watching the movie because I already know how it will play out. I like a little mystery. M. Night seems to do pretty good at keeping a mystery in his movies.

I will say watching the cut or deleted sense were fun, but I am glad he took them out because it would have been a little to repetitive.

It’s been a while since my husband and I have went to Bruegger’s Bagels in St. Paul near our Congregation. The reason why because the last time we went they were very rude toward my husband and we decided if that the behavior they wouldn’t get our business. Bruegger’s Bagels is a little more expensive them most fast food restaurants, but they have some of the best sandwiches. My favorite one is the salmon Lox. I hold the tomatoes but have them put the tomato paste on there and boy it’s yummy, I also put on some sprouts and keeps the capers. Capers are pickled little things that are green and kind of round. I am not sure exactly what they come from but I like them.
We got in and there and made our order to the young lady behind the counter, she was very polite and nice. She listen to my husband and I both which was nice. My hubby wanted a chili bowl but they were out of chili bowls. She wasn’t rude about being out, she let us know they were out before hubby had asked for it. I liked that because if she waited till after he made up his mind, hubby wouldn’t have been very happy about not getting what he wanted. I ended up asking her to double toast my bagel because I like it to be more brown then it had came out. It came out hardly toasted. She had no problem putting it back in with a smile on her face.
This was a lot better experience then the last time we came in and I am glad. Most of their tables were clean which doesn’t always happen in fast food, so they must of recently wash them off. I have to admit they have the same decor since they been there maybe they could us a update on their office furniture.

Last night my husband and I watched Kitchen Nighmares. I just don’t see how most of these restuarant can still be around by the time Ramsey gets there. It is amazing how many owners and chiefs leave their kitchen get so bad it makes me want to puke while watching Tv and I can’t even smell the stuff. I wonder how Ramsey don’t lose his stomach in some of these episodes or how he has managed not to get deathly ill. I wonder if his life insurance would cover his death if he got killed by one of these restuarants. Sorry I hope that never happens to him, but my goodness these people have got to know better.
Okay my husband and I don’t always get to our lift over but I can say we’ve never had them in our freg as long as this restuarant did last night. I’d like to know how they couldn’t see the green mold growing on the pesto he had. Okay I cook for my husband and I and you know I will not cook food that doesn’t look good! I would never have served anyone what that kitchen was serving Ramsey, and I honestly have to say I am glad I have never been there. I will say I am glad the guy sold the restuarant to someone else hopefully the new owners will take better care of the restuarant.
The kitchen was dirty not as bad as other but bad enough where if the health department comes in and looks at it, they would have closed the restuarant down probably permanently. The walls were disgusting, they didn’t show the kitchen faucets but I am sure they probably needed to be cleaned to. What gets me is some of the excuses the owner gives. It’s the chiefs responsiblity, or I didn’t know it was that bad. I am sorry who owns the restuarant the chief or you, who owns it is responsible. I am pretty sure if I ever got food posioning I wouldn’t go after the Chief I would go after the Owner. The owner is the one reliable to make sure the Chief is doing his job. Being an owner means you have to be a good manager and if you can’t do that and manage your restuarant then you shouldn’t be doing that line of work.
Now what I find surprising is the Chief response of Oh I didn’t know it was that bad. Excuse me but who the one who goes and get the ingredents, can’t you smell mold or rooting food. I know I can! I understand that sometimes the chief has other working with him, but still the chief should be making sure what leaves his kitchen is good. I would say if you can’t give it to your mom or better yet your grandma then you better not give it to a costumer to eat it. This chief said he couldn’t throw things out, I am sorry but when it comes to food, sometimes you have to throw things out. Learn how to manage inventory better, or maybe get your supplies in more frequently and just order what you will need for a few days at a time. I think that kitchen had problems with management and lack of good planing as far as inventory.

Normally I don’t care for orange flavored candies actually I can think of maybe 2 orange flavored candies I like and one isn’t even a flavor but fruit peices with sugar on it. The other day I decided I would get some of the Orange creme Yogurt, the other thing I like which is orange is a popsickle. I was surprised how much orange flavor it had and to me it tasted like eating something with a real orange.
To be honest I do not like the texture of whips foods, but yoplait I seem to be able to like. It’s not my favorite and never will be but it something I will eat willingly. The reason I tried it was the pop sickle they have on it, to me it reminded me of what I like as far as ice cream and I wanted to try it.
Yoplait makes really good yogurt and I enjoy them, I wonder if they make any ice cream maybe that be a good thing for them to try like frozen Yogurt. Now that sounds good.
I bet they’d make good Christmas cookies too, those aren’t hard to make right.There whips are made with sugar, so this is a plus. I haven’t done any of their diet type yogurt or bother looking at the package. I interduced my husband to Yoplait a few weeks ago and he also likes it. One of his comments to me was about another one of their yogurts and how much fruit was in it.

The other day I was watching TV. I have to say I am not a political type of person but I do pay a little bit of attention. I will not say where I am at, but I will say I wish the Democratic party would stop sending me their junk mail. I hate junk mail because it’s always something that just makes up more garbage, and hey they sure do complain about global warming alot, so why are they cutting down trees to send me their advertisements. Sorry I will try to play nicely.
Yesterday on the TV AL Frankin had a ad on, in regards to the ad I want to say the republican party put out on his bad behavior. Al Frankin has been known to lose his temper, okay he’s human I will give him that, but I won’t give him the claim in his ad because you can tell the tone of voice in his ad is different then the tone of his voice in the Republican ad. I am not trying to be unfair but sorry his screaming and cussing had nothing to do with the story of Wellstone son. Grant it I don’t have a problem with him sharing about Wellstone sons converstation with him, I have a problem with him giving miss leading information.
You what I would like to see from our polititans; honesty, intergurity and more caring about the people they serve then caring about filling their pockets with money. I honestly will probably not vote for Frankin because how can he make such a big mistake of not paying his taxes in how many states was it 13 or 17, I can’t rember, how do you forget about paying your taxes in that many states.
He has spoken about raising taxes but so is almost all the other, but what good is raising our taxes going to do and hey wait a minute don’t you dare raise my taxes or even suggest it unless you’re going to pay all of your taxes in a timely manor.
I am sorry, I agree with one of the ad that was sent out against him. It’s of a 3rd grade student who tells him pretty much maybe you should tell the IRS your dog ate it, but that don’t even work in third grade. Well I can’t say I ever used the excuse my dog ate my homework. Now honestly I can use my cat got sick on my homework because he did that to me this week. But Otis isn’t running for office niether am I, and well hey I didn’t email my professor telling him my cat ruined my homework it will be late. Nope what I did was redid everything and submitted it and even before it was do.
Here’s what I want from my politian honesty, file their taxes when they are due and stop trying to raise the taxes of everyday people. Stop putting out ads to misslead us and take responsiblity for your poor behavor. I don’t see this with Frankin I see a lot of excuse making and this isn’t a leader I want serving me.
I have no clue where he stands on life insurance quote, or where anyone is but that another item our politians need to give their stand on.
