Say What I Think

The other day hubby and I where shopping for a few grocery. I give dad his Benefiber in usually his apple sauce, and sometimes his coffee. Dad really likes the benefiber because it doesn’t change the taste or texture, so it works nicely. Hubby saw some Granny Smith Apples Sauce and those are Granny Smiths are my favorite apples. So we decided to get a package.
I will say it was sweeter then I was expecting it to be, I was expecting more of a tart tasting apple. Now I normally I like apple sauce but do not like apples other then the granny smith. I am happy to say I like this apple sauce I have tried other flavors which are also good. I haven’t found a flavor I do not like yet. I wonder if apples can also be used in microdermabrasion, like some of the other things being used. Not sure how Apple would work out though.
The apple sauce is like all other apple sauces and the single serving sizes are great.

The other day I decided to get Snausages in a blanket to try with the dog for treats. We are still giving the dogs lots of treats for going potty outside, talk about spoiled she hasn’t had a accident, since we came back from Illinois so I have to say I am very proud of her.

I got these at Target for a few bucks, and they are small so they work nicely for our dog who is about 7 pounds. They are covered with cheese flavored stuff and beef dog looking things, they actually smell pretty good, and look good. They are soft and chewy too, so they are easy to break apart of give her on walks when I know people will be walking their pets, encourages her to behave well. We still have to watch the dog because she likes to eat quickly and then chokes on things.
I have noticed at some stores they are trying to get you to a apply for check cards for them but why do that, not like I want a bunch of companies running credit checks on me, I should go to one of those credit report services and find out how bad my credit actually is right now.
Our dog really likes these little treats, what I wish they would do is say how many treats are in a jar so I can know how many are there, knowing the pounds don’t tell me how many there are or about how long they will last me.

Our Orginal Xbox 360 died a couple of weeks ago, so we had to get a new one and chose to get the XBOX360 Arcade. The nice thing is the arcade was all set up, so we just had to plug in our hard drive and run, but we needed to get the lisenses renewed. What we didn’t know we needed to also go on line to the Xbox website and register our old licenses to my profile, when he downloaded it worked for his profile but not mine. We ended up calling them for help and they walked us though it. Now here’s the drag I was playing Oblivion and noticed I didn’t have the downloaded content, bummer. Well since I saved on one of my character I lost all my stuff in the other parts of the games. Oh well.
What I found to be odd is hubby downloaded a little game to see if it would let me play it and it did. At least they gave us our licenses for the downloaded content with out us having to pay for it. We had the red light of death.
The Xbox360 Arcade is pretty much the same, just it didn’t come with the remote control to turn it on from a distance, other wise it all the same. It was easy for the most to reinstall the update it would have been nice of them to explain it better in the material how you renew your Xbox360 download content stuff. It’s not like we are installing a newundermount sink, which would be done the same way, and can me measured to fit into place.

Earth has pretty much been made unliveable and now they are looking for new places to live. They are exploring different plants and your main caracter has the attitude of rules do not exactly apply to him. Edge is a young male wanting to help save the humans, so off he goes into space. Thier first landing is not good, eventhough they end up on the correct plant, they end up with some dangers. Edge eventually leaves here in search of another place within the solar system or something. Eventually he finds out hey aliens are real and has one join his team. The alien is a benefit but another young one.

I have just know lift the first planet. The battle screen is action and it is very easy. I am doing the earth level since I have never played this series and might decide to try the next higher level to make it a little more challenging, so Earth Level is good for beginners.  Edge starts off with no money but it is earned on your way to different missions you can’t get anything anyways until after what I will call the 2nd boss battle. The first one I am not so sure it’s a boss battle more then learn how to make it work.

The graphics are cool, and the ships are neat. When you get back to where your ship crashed you will have a town or something there, don’t be alarmed, just go in. There are now places to buy stuff, and it’s easy to earn more money to be honest I went and explored a little more wanted to get some term life insurance online quotes for stuff.

Edge has a friend with him from earth, she always give him a hard time for his behaviors. They make a good team and it fun listening to some of their bantering.  In earth level you get everything you need as you go exploring it seems there is more stuff given in that level while looking around then in the higher level. Or maybe the battles are just easier and it requires less healing agents.

I would say I really enjoy this game and it’s interesting.  Age group probably good for where ever the makers placed it. The graphics are good to and everything looks real that should look real. Now finding treasure or pods what ever you want to call them you have to watch out for them because they look more like plants or something.

This weekend has been a little stressful. On Thursday we got our Internet disconnected because I had forgotten to pay for it and when I got the noticed I decided to wait a little longer until I got paid. Well they disconnected it before that happened. Our Internet was off for about 24 hours, and some how Multiband managed to do something to where they claimed they couldn’t turn it on through the company.  When I called in they charged me a 30 dollar reconnect fee. Okay I do not mind that so much, the operator told me the Internet would be back within 48 hours. I asked her if that included the weekend and was told yes it included weekends so by Sunday it would be back.
Okay No problem I can handle that and not fall behind in school. When I called my husband and let him know I dealt with Multiband and paid the bill and it would be back on within 48 hours. My husband asked me does that count weekends. I told him what I was said and said I would call Multiband back and make sure. So I called them. Was told by a second rep it would be turned on no later then Sunday. Because they needed the 48 hours and it was very possible it would be back on before the 24 hours.
On saturday we where able to go everywhere on Multiband site. So we got concerned that something was wrong. I called them and asked about it and was told that they wouldnt be out until Monday between 12pm and 4pm. I got angry at this and told her that was unacceptable because I was told one thing and that was not right to tell me one thing and have it off for 72 hours. Boy I was not happy. If that the way they wanted to treat their customer we where not happy. I was polite but angry it must be a hard sales career for call center people because they deal with us unhappy customers. I wouldn’t have been angry if they would have been honest with me.
Finally we had my husband call about it. I was to mad at this point. He ended up talking to 3 people and at this time we wanted a manager and were seriously thinking about leaving Mutliband. We were not happy at all. It is very rude to hang up on a caller when they are being polite. So when that happened 2 times to him, we told the next one we wanted a manager. Well we didn’t get a manager. The young man said he wanted to try to help. So we let him.

The young man did good. I do have to admit last night and this morning I wasn’t sure how good he done! We assumed after not hearing from him he forgot all about us and couldn’t do anything and instead of calling us to say so just lift it along. Well this morning he gave me a call and said that he had found the information needed and would be able to turn us back on right away. This made me very happy. I think he is what really made us decide to stay with Multiband, because he made us feel valued and listen to the fact I am a student and need to do homework. Now it would have been nice if he got to it sooner considering I behind in the math part of class seriously. He came back to day and did more work and then called us back. This shows very good customer service skills. Yes I am not doing homework because I been doing it since Internet came on a little before noon with only a 1 1/2 hour break.

Yesterday hubby and I took dad to his old home to get a few items. We stopped for gas on the way and we found some star burst sweet and sours. To me I think they are all sour but they were good. I can’t complain, but it would have been nice to have the Sweet actually sweet and not as tart as it was. I do like sweet and sour candies so it was nice to have.
The green apple to me was a little gritty. Oh well seems like all sour green apples are always gritty. I love granny smith apples but those are different then some candy.
I am surprised that gas stations haven’t started putting wireless alarm on their candy because I know they are small and easy to take.

Yesterday I took Dad to target, I wanted to get a couple of things. Dad needed a new Coffee pot, I needed a book case and a case with doors. I found a five shelf book case, and the one I wanted there. I got the one with 3 shelves and the doors to store food and animal food for the dog and the cat. I want to get at least 1 more case with doors on it, and the one with dresser door type to stack on top of it. At least I didn’t need to look for lingerie corsets at Target with dad. We got dad a nice coffee pot, which I will right about later, but I will say I am impressed.
My two new shelves look great, although I could kick my self in the head because I put one of the shelves on wrong and couldn’t get it out and then I put something throw the side of the shelf, but I was able to hide it to a point. I wonder if I can get additional shelves for this book case and make it more then 5 shelves because for what we are doing, I could fit at least 2 or 3 more shelves. The book case is a little taller then me, but I was able to get my stuff on the very top shelf and was able to fit all hubby PS3, PS2 and Xbox360 on there, I might even be able to get all the PS1 on there too, along with our PSP and other gaming system games.
We got a few other things there and one of the people there offered to help get our stuff to the car. This was a big help for me because he was able to put it in the car for me. The 5 shelve book case is very heavy let me tell you, I could have used help once I got home. I will say yesterday Target got customer service right and I felt a lot better about my experience there then I did the last time. It seems that the prices for the shelves went down, next month I will get my next two items I want for storing stuff. Maybe since it so cheap I will get another book shelf and place it behind the table, and start storing my book there because the bookshelf in dad’s room is about to fall apart. I know getting another 3 shelves with the door and the 2 drawer one will help me. I plan on putting all my kitchen stuff and food in the other two, Maybe I can get my apartment not to look so disorganize.
