A little disappointed
This weekend we went for dinner. The first place we tried was Perkins right next to us. They had changed their menu, and well they aren’t as careful as they used to be. My husband wasn’t impressed with the waitress, she seemed short and not like she cared enough in his opinion. I didn’t see it the same way, because I figured she didn’t have to run to the kitchen to ask if maybe she saw them frying the pork in the same grease.
They took off the chicken pot pie which I really like, so pretty much if I didn’t want breakfast I wasn’t going to be eating so we decided to leave. Dad and hubby both wanted to walk out with out paying for the drink. I decided to ask for the bill for the drink and the waitress there said she’d take care of it. Hubby didn’t like the way she interacted with us and felt that was the only good thing she did.
I will say the Perkins by us has lost their newest to them and has lost some of their appeal. We did end up finding somewhere to eat, and had a good dinner that night.
The dinner was as good as all the dinners I had on my Orlando vacations, and we each got what we wanted. Dad and I both order a combo from the other place and hubby had his yummy stake nachos. We ended up going to a Mexican restaurant that night. The most frustrating thing about Perkins menu change is that takes off another restaurant I used to eat at and not have problems. Pretty soon I won’t be able to eat.

Steak nachos sound really good! Well any Mexican food is yummy anyway
Too bad about one of your most trusted restaurants, Perkins. Maybe you can write them some feedback, I’m sure they’ll appreciate getting the insights of their valuable customers.

If they;re going to change something, then it must be for the better…. but in this case I dont think they did it the right way. It all start withthe smiling waitresses I guess.
