It was hard finding a car that was within my price range, but I found one in my range after talking the person down a little bit. This car is better then any water softener or anything I’ve owned as far as cars go. I have a Kia Rio Cinco, it’s a mercury green color I believe. I am not able to tell colors but it looks like green. Lets see the biggest problem I have is not know what inch of windshield wiper blade but that easy enough to figure out.
The car is a little compact wagon, and has a 4 cylinder engine. It’s a car from Asia or somewhere over that way. I am not 100 % sure but I am pretty sure it’s a good make. I looked on a review site for the car and everything in liability was ranked high, or green. I took it for a test drive and I have to admit at first I was worried about it being a 4 cylinder engine because the last one I drove was not a pleasant experience grant it different maker. This little car has some get up and go, and boy does it heat up quickly. Everything in the car is manual, which is fine with me. I have to roll up the windows by hand, I guess it will be easier for dad not to roll down the windows accidentally like he does in hubby car. I don’t mind rolling down the windows on my own, now the mirrors those are a whole other problem. It’s hard to adjust those because they are manual too, but that’s okay.
I got a good deal on this car I spent 3100$, which is a little more then I wanted to spend but I was able to talk the guy down from his original price. The only thing which would have brought the price of the car up is a 6 disc CD player, there is no tape deck. The gas tank is 11.5 or so and I get about 26 miles per gallon when city driving which is amazing. It nice to finally have a car I can trust to get me safely back and forth to work and know I have heat. This is the first car which I do not have to unlock the passenger door to get into the car, and that I have a good heater. I am very glad I got this car, and I really do like it I think I am just about sold on Kia’s it seems to be a very good brand of car.

I have to say I am not at all happy with Window Vista right now. I think Windows creators are really trying to miss things up in people computers, at least I was able to keep my computer from crashing today. I am not sure if I am the only one with this problem but it seems like one of the security updates causes the computer to go to a black screen, I had to restore my computer to a earlier date, thankfully I didn’t lose anything. Well you know how Vista is if you don’t download their updates it might not work right, now it takes my computer forever to start up.
This is the 2nd time I have had troubles with vista after updating my computer. The last one corrupted the files so badly in the desktop, I couldn’t even get it to restore to a earlier date and lost everything that was not backup. Last night I had it update it does it automatically but then my laptop did not want to start up correctly so I had to force it to shutdown because you can’t do nothing with a black screen.
Finally I got it up and running and now it takes forever for this thing to start up, no viruses or anything, and it only happens when I allow windows to update vista. I think I will go to W7 and see what that’s like. I will probably first do it on the laptop and then to the desktop depending if it works good and doesn’t have a lot of trouble. I wonder if I can get a free life insurance quote on the laptop before vista kills it.

The other day I did a test drive, on a Daewoo station wagon it was a 4 cylinder engine. I have never driven a car for less then a block and hated it as much as I did this one. I think I got about a half city block away from the dealership and was not happy, but I decided I would give it a couple of miles. This is one of those station wagons which needs a lot more power to the engine then it had. I struggled just to get the stupid car above 30 miles a hour, I felt this would be bad for merging on the highway.
The car did not have a smooth ride it felt like a dull box cutter.
I was really hoping that car would be it but it wasn’t and that okay, I found a car which I will write about later.
I would not recommend the daewoo for any driving on the highway I don’t think it get up to speed in enough time to merge safely on to it. The steering was okay but I don’t know I had a real problem with the getting up to speed problem. It almost felt like transmission problems but it was a little different and only had 44 thousand on it.

Okay let me start by saying Yuck!!!!!! Now I know I do NOT like this flavor of Naked. Normally I have enjoyed the brand and felt this would be good for me. This is 220 calories, grant it it’s all liquid I wonder if my husband right liquid calories are different then solid calories. That’s not the worst part of it for me, it the gritty taste it comes with, and how that feels going down the thought. It almost feels like tiny bits of sand being drunk. Maybe they kept the apple and orange seeds in it. Good thing I am not taking miami vacations right now this diet would not be fun.
The drink has Banana in it, and some pineapple and coconut. Now the coconut might also help with the griminess of it. It also has soy and whey. I am amazed at how much sodium these drinks have, it seems like a lot but then again salt is a preserver.
So yuck, and I don’t think I will ever get this flavor again. It’s just not what I like. To bad I couldn’t keep it and send it back telling them yuck, but I can’t give them what I consumed already.. LOL Not 100% satisfied. Sometimes being adventurous isn’t a good deal for me. But oh well I need to have nutrition in me one way or another.

Last night hubby and I ate or is it drank at Jumba juice. I am still recovering from my molars being removed. Wow, talk about not fun. Friday night dad decided he didn’t want to go out because I couldn’t eat, so we got him Culvers and I got a Milk shake. Yesterday my stomach had enough of milk products, normally I don’t eat a lot because it causes me upset stomach. Last night was hubby and mine date night. I would not recommend what I am stuck doing as a good way in how to burn fat, but at least there some good chooses and Jumba Juice last night was the perfect one. I had their Peanut Butter Chocolate Moo or something. Man that thing had 700 calories but I probably don’t need to worry because I am barely getting 1000 calories, I can’t seem to drink enough, and the faster I drink the more I go. Hubby had his own little creation. It always amazes me that he likes granola because he hates oatmeal. I was impressed with how nice they where in there when I told them I had surgery on my mouth and needed something I didn’t have to chew up. They double blinded the shake for me, and gave me a spoon. Yep I am eating my shakes not supposed to use a straw for a while, so I won’t. Hopefully by Friday I will be able to eat real food again soon, like this week. I don’t want to break the stitches that would be bad. At least I feel better now, and don’t feel so yicky, yes I have pain, but its more itching now then anything. I have still swollen gums near the site but it’s only been 3 days, and it looks good and pink, and maybe a little red but that’s probably to be expected for a little while. Nothing with a sign of an infection. Maybe I can find something similar to Jamba juice for tomorrow before class, I doubt it almost. I would recommend this little place to anyone who wants something yummy with milk restrictions.

Okay, I will say G-d blessed me with a great root system in my stupid mouth, if I wasn’t grinding my teeth to heck. I will probably need to find out if I can get a mouth guard. Today I had a dental appointment at the Union Gospel Mission here in St. Paul. I will say I was impressed considering this is a free service they provide to the community. I would have thought they wouldn’t have been as kind and gentle, I would have thought they would have been a lot worst but they did great with me. The minute I had pain the dentist say it right away and put more novacine in a long with something else that totally numb me. Needless to say I can not feel my face on the left side. I am not to do any lifting for 24 hours so no work. I asked him when can I return to work, he said as soon as I felt well enough. So then I asked can I return to work tomorrow he said no. After reading my after surgery requirements I realized I wouldn’t be able to go to work anyways because my job requires me to do a lot of lifting.
They never really lift me a lone, other then a few minutes when they where talking about my care. I have very long roots, and very strong too boy he fought with that thing for near 2 hours. My young assistant did great and they both made me feel at ease not like they really needed a emergency alert system for me. I told them I hadn’t been to the dentist for years because last time I went about the wisdom teeth they said they have to break my jaw. He told me call them back and ask for the guy who deal with wisdom teeth because he’s a oral surgeon and aught to get to it. I was surprised he needed a smaller size for my mouth, because I have always thought I have a big mouth, guess not.
I still have no pain in my mouth and I was done at 745 and it’s now close to 2 hours, but I still can’t feel my left side of my face.
I was very happy with the level of compassion and gentleness they had with me. This is a great program for those of use who have no insurance, and no money. I explained to him when he told me to go to Uof M and get some work done which might be easier for them, that I can’t do that because I work part-time because I talk care of my father in law with Alzheimer, and only made peanuts for money with no benefits. I have to say I don’t have a huge fear anymore.

I am not sure what the dog thinks about them because she throws them around and chases after them. It funny how this little dog eat her treats sometimes she does this because she not very interested. The dog has caused me some dark circles trying to find her treats she likes. Sometimes she a snot, I think she likes it because she will eat it after a few throws. I will say, I would have expected them to be more wet feeling then they are but they are not wet at all. So it doesn’t really remind of gravy which is normally wet. Now I know personally I wouldn’t want to stick my hand in no wet box or container to get the dog her treat.
Right now we are still working on potty training she still thinks it good to pee in mine and hubby bedroom between our closet and by the cat litter. I can’t seem to get it throw her thick skull it naughty. She got made at hubby and I and decided to hold her pooh for a couple of days so she hasn’t gotten many bones from the box. Well if she keeps it up, this box of treats might last us a long time.

I finally had a chance to use the Jerky maker I bought last month. This is the first time I been able to get a little extra meat. I made three different types of meats, turkey, chicken and beef. I was surprised that the chicken and turkey jerky tasted very similar in flavor. It is amazing how similar they tasted, the chicken took well to the flavorings I used. Dad said the beef was very spicy and hot, well that’s because I used the little packets provided in the Home jerky maker, they give us 4 flavors, and I used 3 of them.
I was impressed with how quickly it made jerky, it took all day but was faster then I thought it would be. The home jerky maker comes with five trays, and 4 packets of flavoring. According to the book that came with it I can leave the meat out for 3 weeks but I have decided that doesn’t sound wise, so I been putting it in the refrigerator when I am done with it. To bad Samsung didn’t make this because then I would have known I probably don’t need to get a warranty on it. It the jerky maker we brought from Cabella last time we visited to get dad his bed and our fudge. With the jerky maker I plan to try lamb and bison meat and see what it taste like. I guess we will never have to spend 9 bucks on jerky now I just have to buy the jerky stuff and put it in the drier. The nice thing is if I want to I can dry fruit and other things.

The other day I stopped to get some body soap. We didn’t go to our normal place, and I was unable to find the one I normally use. They didn’t have any of the Soft Soap brand which I know is good for my skin and normally do not break out. I am so glad I found another I can use. It weird last time I used dial bar soap I broke out, but this time I got the liquid. I am happy to say I have used it a couple of times and my skin is still good.
It smells yummy could almost eat it if I didn’t know better. I guess if I drank that I would never needweight loss pills. Now I am not saying I aught to drink it because I am sure it would be very bad idea. It smells like vanilla, and something like cookies is what it reminds me of.

Today we had my Birthday celebrate at Cecils, it started off with 10 people showing up, and the group grew to 14 people. I found out a couple of friends I didn’t know where coming came. I am glad they did, it was nice. Our waiter did a good job of handling our group, it was large and they are a little Jewish delli. I bet they wished they could shrink tube and make us take up less space. We almost covered the length of the restaurant we had one couple not inside of the group, but that’s okay they where placed close enough to go and walk over and talk to them.
It was the perfect pick because everyone who was invited follow Kosher rules, as far as clean and unclean foods. I ordered the Lox burger, I will have to remember to ask for Kaper next time. Those are hard to explain but I love them, to be honest I am not even sure where they come from. The kitchen did a great job at delivering everyone food in a timely manner, and served hot food hot and cold food cold. I was even wished Happy B-day by the a few of the staff, at least no one sang to me. I don’t know why, I would rather people not sing to me.
I guess I don’t mind a little bit of attention from people I know but I don’t want everyone to know.
I got some very nice cards and a cool book mark, golly I hope it’s a book mark because that’s the purpose I am giving it. It’s perfect for books, because of how it’s shaped. It’s not any other bookmark I have used but it’s is great. I also got a shirt, and a gift card.
