I am not sure how the dog goes through her slippers for outside so quickly but she has a talent for it. We tried the other 2 pet stores which are local and it was just picked over. I figured it wouldn’t hurt trying Pet Supply Plus, and I found more then just doggy booties I found a cat scratch post and booties for a lot less then I found them other places.
We went in there, and it was a good thing we did. I got my 2 pairs of booties for the dog, now her paws will be dry in them. They look like gloves, but will probably be torn through just like all other booties to bad they can’t be dealt with like a belt in a rv with a rv repair. They are ugly booties but they will serve the purpose they were intended for.
I also got a kitty scratching post which was 2 ft tall, and is made with rope maybe otis can’t tare through this one as quickly as the other one. It looks pretty steady, so the 20 pound monster won’t be able to destroy it quickly. We had a pretty good experience there but there was no one to answer questions unless you sought them out.

On Friday there were not many options for dining out but Friday nights are dad night to be taken out to dinner. We almost needed international travel insurance, to get dad his weekly dinner. The weather was horrible, and it wasn’t exactly the most pleasant driving conditions but considering how the last couple days where roads where better then i thought they would be worst. Little Six Casino is about 10 miles from us, so it took us about 20 minutes to get there, other then a couple of big clumps of snow in the middle of the road it was not to bad. We got in for dinner.
We had a very nice waitress, and she did well. My husband asked to be moved as far away from smoking as possible and again we were placed close by. I said something this time right away, and we where moved away from smoking pretty much clear across the restaurant which was prefect for us. Our waitress stayed with us for our whole visit, which was good because she was a nice lady.
Dad order their prime rib, it looked nice and was tender. Dad enjoy the meat. He also had a salad, squash and potatoes. They all looked pretty nice, dad seemed to eat it all. Except he had left over prime rib. Hubby had a hickory BBQ chicken sandwich and a bowl of soup. Hubby liked his chicken rice soup but it was bad for his diet. I had the same as hubby but with onion rings. Mine was pretty good.

Yesterday, Dad and I decided we would go to Wal-Mart, to get some gifts for his grandchildren up here, and we decided hubby and I would get them something too, we know Christmas is important to them even though we do not celebrate it. For the eldest grand child we wanted to get some fishing supplies, man it sucked over there there was no fishing supplies, none at all. There sporting section sucked, and had nothing. They didn’t really have anything for sporting good. I was disappointed to say the least. Ever since the remodel there not as much good stuff there, there’s stuff it’s still a good store, but it’s hard to adjust to the fact they no longer have items, I sometimes would get from there.
It was fairly picked over, so dad and I had to go to another store. I didn’t want to travel out to the super Wal-mart because it was a small drive, but with traffic being like it was on the highways to get there, I simply did not want to waste my time trying to get there. Plus I knew a snow storm was moving in, and I didn’t want to get caught down there when it came in. We got nothing we needed that trip not even the office supplies I wanted oh well. I should have probably look at their options for chairs, I need to replace about 4 chairs for the dining room table, maybe I can find something which matches up well.

University lift is very hard for the working adult, between working and other responsibility where is there time to get a good degree program, and then accomplish it. There are several universities who have online degree programs for adult learner When trying to pick a university it is important to make sure it is a good one for you and for the life style you live. I have attended college for a few years now and almost done.
Some of the things I looked at before picking my online degree program was accreditation it is important to have that because if it doesn’t credits will not transfer out even though they might accept credits from other schools. WGU has some accreditation, and there terms are 6 months long. This is one way they can help you gain a degree, they even have graduation ceremonies for students who want to walk the lines. The Tuition is a lot lower then most colleges, because they are a non-profit, and what adult learn does not want to save money on tuition.

Well our Kodak finally kick the bucket this week. I have to admit I was a little angry with it. It seems like it went through color ink within 10 pages on draft setting everyone knows draft means not good quality. So hubby and I decided to go to Best Buy and talk to geek squad and find out if it was worth getting more ink or if it was going to be a ongoing problem. Pretty much the printer is malfunctioning. It was nice they had a few sales, so I was able to get a new printer for 50$ which was like half off it’s original price. It’s like a lot of things are taking slimming pill on their prices. so know we have a Epson which has some great features. It has like a little thing, which will let you see pictures on a file that it has, and you can print from a usb thingy. It can copy, or scan too which is a good feature and that one thing I liked about the Kodak we had.
Lets see it feeds paper on top, and there no way to get to the paper if it gets jammed so they must think it will never jam. The guy at best buy was surprised about no easy way getting to the paper feed but okay maybe it won’t jam, hopefully I don’t jam it. He was very polite and answered all of our question. When we decided that was what we wanted he went over to the printers and handed one to us, and told us to have a good day and thank you for shopping at best buy. Wow, they got customer service down there. He made hubby and I feel like valuable customer even when we told him at first we weren’t sure we would buy tonight, depends if we could find something good. I think that part of why I decided to go ahead and get it because he was very good at helping even though we might not spend out money right there.
I set up my printer today and it had a nice solid print, I haven’t tried to put my flash drive on it yet to see if I can print pictures. One thing I like about the printer is I can get the colored cartage separate from each other so maybe when one color runs out I just have to replace one color not all of them at once.

Last night my husband and I went to Target, we needed to get me some winter boots. My boots wear leaking. Well I think last night was a night for rudeness at the Richfield Super Target here in Minnesota, because I had 2 run in with rude employees. I am not happy to say the least and if they feel their customers needs are a waste of time maybe they better reevaluate what brings in their profits, because frankly if they lose customers from rudeness, they won’t be staying open very long. Their customer service was about as good as dirty American Standard toilets and not flushed. Okay I am being slightly extreme here.
I had asked where their boots where the girl wasn’t as bad as the boy that helped my husband and I. Frankly I don’t think they aught to have a jewelry section because their is never anyone to help you there any how. The girl with the boot was just slightly rude to be honest I would have placed her more as short or just her mind was else where. I wouldn’t say she did anything wrong other thing the attitude when I asked where to find winter. I found a pair for 20$ so I was happy. Now had they not been that low price I would have lift the boots and everything I had found and told them they could take my purchase and forget it.
Well what happened to make hubby and I displeased, is that we rang for someone from jewelry. I didn’t read the sign right in front of the button. I figured the sign was saying ring the bell if no one here. I guess I guessed wrong. We had a young man come to not help us. He treated us very poorly and pretty ugly. Now he could have said what he said which could have been said in a more costumer friendly. The problem is more of how he treated hubby and I not necessarily that they don’t help as much as we wanted them.
My husband found a watch he liked, and I decided it would be a good hanukah present for him. He didn’t like the band, for him it’s always liking the watch face but disliking the band on the watch. So we asked if the guy could help us, and he told us “no it’s a waste of our time and money to put a watch band or battery in your watch for you”. What really pissed me off he read that stupid sign of his twice to hubby and I, We’re not dumb people, and don’t need to have it read to us twice. I had a real problem being told that customers needs where not valued, and how he acted when we had asked for yes something hard to do but not so difficult that he needed to be rude to us. We finally went to Wal-mart and got a new watch band and they put it on. Target might want to reconsider what their customers are needing or they might have some serious competition with Wal-mart or some other store which has better customer services. The thing that amazes me Wal-mart employees don’t get paid much and probably less then Target employees do, and they have very good customer service so far at all Wal-mart I have visited. I think Target better consider analyzing their mission statement and make sure it’s lining up in their customer service department because it has went down here quickly.
