Manny’s SteakHouse

This weekend my husband and I were treated out to dinner with another couple. It was a interesting and fun experience. There was a couple of options for me to pick from, and they where good. I struggled with choosing what I wanted, I knew I would not pick the Chicken because I can get that everywhere, and can make it pretty good on my own. It was a toss up between Salmon and Lamb chops. I told the group it was a toss up and one of them said order something that you normally wouldn’t get, so I decided the Lamb chops it be. The waiter told me everything is cooked on separate grills, so that meant my hearts desires was going to be met as far as food went that night. Not like trying to find good laptop memory sometimes that just don’t work out the way you wanted it. Well, the guy brought the meat cart up to show us our options, which was a lot of beef just about all the cuts you can imagine. He got to the Lobster, most of us thought it was a prop not the real thing, well he pointed the bugger towards me to show the nice quality of lobster it was, and the thing moved. My responses was Oh my goodness it just moved. It was well surprising when your thinking it not real. I will say it was a nice looking lobster, so was their shrimp and pork products but those aren’t foods any of our group order. Everyone order beef except for one chicken and on lamp. The sides like asparagus and broccoli were huge, bigger then anything I have ever seen. Veggies on Steroids or something. It was very hubby. We had these Homemade Potato chips, they were the best I have ever had, very good. Hubby wanted to order a 2nd order but lol we decided to go with another side. We got the Harshbrowns instead and those were good. We wanted the mash potatoes but those had pork in them, and would be danger our waiter even remember it was in there with out us finding it out the hard way. I was impressed, I can not tell you how many restaurants pork as an ingredient has been over looked, until I had a reaction. I was very impressed with him, and glad he did such a good job. He did tease me a little bit a couple of times, but well I never go to any 4 star restaurants so I don’t know how things are done.
My lamp chops were very good, I didn’t even want salt or pepper on it, they where perfect. The broccoli was tender and warm, and the harsh brown now I don’t normally like them where very good. The lamp chop meat was hug, I was surprised I ate it all.
I have to admit this was a fun experience and the food was very good everyone at our table enjoyed dinner. I ordered my lamp medium it. I told him I don’t want blood coming out on my plate but I want it to be pink in the inside. My meat came just about perfect, maybe I would have preferred a little more cooked but not enough to complain about it was very good. They got very close if not right where I told them I wanted it to be. The beef looked good and my hubby ate all of his beef too, it was so good that it was kind of the place you don’t want to bring home leftover you just want to eat it there.
We had a Ice cream sunday. Okay this thing could have feed at least 8 people, it feed all 6 of us, and there was still some, I had 2nds on that. It was huge Oh my goodness was it the biggest ice cream I have ever seen. It was very good, and man the fruits which came with it were very fresh! I honestly can’t think of anywhere I have seen huge veggies, the potatoes where giant size I didn’t even think they got that big, and looked that nice when they do.
Lets see this isn’t the type of place, to go on a budget, your looking at spending at least 30 to 100 depending on what you are getting. Sides had to be gotten separately from the meal. So your looking at spending a little bit of money but it’s worth it if you have it to spear.
