Say What I Think

Tonight hubby, dad and I all went to Fuddruckers for dinner dad wanted hamburger for dinner, and well I didn’t have anything to make that with at home. I didn’t really want to stop at the store, and we had a good night at the casino tonight so I didn’t see any harm in allowing dad to have his hamburger.
We decided to go to Fuddruckers off of 494 in Edina, or Richfield, I believe it Edina. At first I was a little worried how the service would be because I twisted my ankle in the handicap parking space because there was a bunch of rocks. Good thing dad was not on my side of the car, because he would have been hurt. I would have then been very unhappy. I went to the bartender and she didn’t seem to understand what I was telling her or the location of where. My husband went to the manager with the information. This problem was cleaned by the time we got back to our car which impressed me.
I ordered a bison burger for dad and I, and ordered it medium. It came to me wonderfully made, it was pleasantly juicy and cooked nicely. Now it took longer then what the manager had told us it would take, but I was anyways expecting it to take longer, because I let him know i have a pork allergy. He told his cook and caught the cook handling my burger right after handling pork. Instead of sending it out to me, he cleaned the grill, or something and made the burger his self which was considerate of him. I am glad he did this because sometimes my allergy to pork can get very bad, so it nice to know he was careful. It tasted wonderful too, a big changed from Friday night. In case any one was wondering if I ever right anything nice. I had onion rings and they where good too, I peel the breading off of about half of what I eat. I am very happy with the food there tonight. Dad said he loved it.
Hubby had a rib stake burger and said it was very good. He ordered it well done and it still came back to him pleasantly moist the way it should and he enjoyed that with his fries. They looked good but I am not a potato kind of girl. He said his good was very good and ate most of it. The portion on the onion and fries where generous and the burgers were yummy. They were served to us hot, and that was good.
I will have to say hubby and I will come again to Fudderuckers and have burgers probably not during dinner rush to make it easier on the cooks. The manager did a great job listening to any complaints or concerns to us. When he pasted us he apologize for the long wait and explained to us what had happened. I wasn’t worried why it took longer I just assumed it was because of my allergy and making sure not to cross contaminate me. We talked about some of our favorite shows that were cooking related so maybe he will watch them and enjoy them too. Might open his eyes to the horrors of restaurant industry.
Considering they sent someone out to clean up the handicap space to make it easy safe for customers this is a plus. I will admit I was surprised that it was cleaned up. The food was served hot and it tasted wonderful. It was well seasoned. The only thing on food we bypassed was the shredded lettuce because it looked a little wet. Other was there was no concern with the food prep there, and even that we were not concerned with. It was all very yummy maybe hubby and I will go there on a date night again. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice little burger joint. Now the prices are not to bad on a family of three we just spent over $30. This is a little less then we do at other places.

I think finding good dental implants Mexico is a lot easier then figuring out why Vista been crashing my computer every time it down loads it update. I am seriously thinking about going with Windows Seven and hopefully that will be better. I am not sure, hard to say. I have finally turned off the automatic download option because I can’t have my computer down every time I turn around I need my computer working correctly. I do not need my computer to be down half the time, and the other half the time working.
I am planning on going back to school soon, I think this week sometime I will call the the enrollment adviser there and see what they have to offer on line and if I can do it. I will probably just try to find the person I spoke to last time, and see if they can help me determine what the best course of action is since I do not know how long the program postponed.
So how do I like Vista now, I am not sure, I can say I am frustrated with it and the wasted time.

Hubby and I went to Eagan tonight, first we stop at the furniture store and did not find anything we liked, or wanted. This surprised me so away from the furniture store to Eagan we went. Hubby needed a desk and I wanted a better desk for my computer. I use my laptop because my desk is unpleasant to use because I have the monitor, keyboard and mouse on a little disk which was nice, but in school it was a pain to use the desk. So I decided I would use a little bit of my paycheck and get a desk that would match all our furniture. When we move I will be able to take apart the tv stand, and desk and be able to put most if not all the stuff in the car, but the coach and other furniture would need a uhaul but we are not moving yet and don’t plan to anytime soon, eventually we are hoping to move out west but that neither here or there until G-d gives my hubby his call. So we will worry about it when it happens. Well we looked at a few stores before we went to Wal-Mart, we knew basically what Wal-mart had, it was as simple as finding atro phex reviews.
We came into Wal-Mart and hubby wanted a vault from the vending machine but ended up with getting mellow yellow. He went to bring it back to customer service so while he was doing that the greeter started talking to me. We where talking about being dehydrated and the need for drinking enough water. I encouraged her to drink the water she needed but she didn’t want to have to go to the bathroom all the time. I told her in time it will get better because I have had to make some of the same adjustment. She was a very nice person and made our experience there pleasant.
We found what we wanted we both got the same desk so now we will match. I will write about the desk when I set it up, right now I want to see how well it works and how easy it is to set up. Sometimes these furniture in a box are unpleasant to set up, but I have done almost all the furniture in the living room and all of it in the dining room area on my own. I am good with my hands so I do not mind getting the make it yourself if it will save me money.
Wal-mart had long lines to night and we found some chocolate candy to share and I got myself a pop. You know people think Wal-mart a bad company but actually I like them a lot. Every time so far when I have went in I have always had very good customer service and the staff there act happy to be in there job. Most of the time the greeters are very personable.

Tonight hubby and I went to New China Buffet in Eagan MN. Well I will have to say I am very disappointed and I hope I do not end up with food poisoning. Last time we went it was not this bad, and I was almost shocked at how ran down the place was, and honestly I am not sure I would want to see what the kitchen looks like. I will probably have a unpleasant none natural colon cleanser done to me with out really wanting it, but I can already tell I might have troubles with the stomach. If I do then I think I will know right where it came from. Well lets get to the decor, many of the booths had tiers in the sit, and some of the chairs where in the same place. The decor hasn’t changed in many years, the wall paper looks like it was about to come down. The ceiling had water stains on the roof. At one point my husband told me something like, they need Ramsey to come here, and he have a fit. My husband tries to imitate him, which is sometimes funny. Tonight it wasn’t so funny it was more worry some then funny.
Well we got our food extremely fast, and it wasn’t exactly very warm. I order the Chicken almond ding, hubby had the chicken curry. Lets see it came very quickly as I said before his food wasn’t even warm but he didn’t send it back. I took a bite into my chicken, and it was well simply not right, it was like geewy rubbery. It didn’t taste fully cooked neither, so I took my fork and spoon and cut it open and the chicken was pink. ow wait a minute it pink chicken meat looking almost raw is not safe. I sent it back. It looked more well cooked when they brought it back, but still tasted wrong. It still had a overly chewy texture, and didn’t taste right. I bite into another piece and found it was still to pink. I decided I would take it home and throw it in the frying pan and cook it myself. By the time I got home I decided not to cook it because I started thinking about the types of food poisoning once it spreads it contaminates everything, and I do not want to be sick and miss work because of it. Now I am hoping I will be fine but if the Toilet because my best friend tonight for the night we’ll know.
Hubby said they had a lot of garlic in his curry. Okay I have had curry and garlic is a flavor but its never over powers the curry. Hubby wasn’t impressed with is dinner and he said we will probably not come back.
Part of the reason we do not want to come back is because of what was said to us. When she brought back the food we where told the cook just wanted to get it out very fast so the meat wouldn’t dry out. Wait a minute, I was tempted to ask her if they where cooking, freezing and then recooking. This would explain the cold inappropriately cooked chicken meat and the beef not being exactly right. I am not sure if we will visit there again. I was not happy and honestly think if they are having troubles maybe they need someone like Ramsey to come and help them and frankly teach them how to cook correctly. I simply disappointed and I think next time we will just wait till we get home for our Chinese food.

The other day at Target I decided to try something new to get raid of the cat hair on the bedding and other places he likes to lay. I’ve tried other products that have not been successful and are not easy to use. So I figured it would be worth a try, like some people feel anti wrinkle treatments are worth a try when they are aging.
It yellow, and has little spikythings its some kind of cloth It works nicely.
It did work nicely to clean the fur of the bedding and other stuff. It also kind of gave one of my chairs the look of being vacuumed. It looked a lot better so I can’t complain. I think it was also worth the money to get this, I was able to peel of the hair and use it again a couple of times. Now I know soon I will have to toss it but the box came with 5 refills.

I have to say I hope the makers of Dr. Pepper and Mt. Dew do not stop making the heritage it made with real sugar. Honestly it tastes a lot better. Plus it probably more healthier then the other stuff. I have always been a fan of dr. pepper and probably always will be. Now I am not such a fan that I have to swim in it or put it in the spa, could you imagine what it would do to a spa covers. Pop would really make a sticky mess on it.
It best when it cold and sometimes I like to put those little cherries in and then some of the juice, it adds a little bit of flavor.

Dad wanted to go out for dinner yesterday, so we took him to Apple Bees in Edina. We got there and was seated right away, and we decided what we wanted. The waitress asked if we needed more time, well dad don’t hear well and he tries to BS his way through conversations because he don’t want to admit he couldn’t hear. Well she walked away and said she give us a few minutes. I asked dad, did you need more time choosing what you wanted, hubby said I didn’t and dad goes no this is what I want, and I said well I know what I wanted but now she gone. Okay no big deal I will just look out the exterior shutters and wait for her to come back to take our order. Dad kept looking at the menu, so I am sure that made them take longer. I wish she would have made sure she wasn’t needed but I probably would have done the same things. I normally ask dad if I am not sure he heard me what did I just say to you. This way I know he understood me. Now I know had the waitstaff done that I would have not been happy so I am not mad about it.
Well she came for our order, and I order chicken fingers, onion rings and Mt. Dew. No Dr. Pepper so I had to go the next best thing. Hubby had the Chicken Fiesta and dad had the Rueben Sandwich. My chicken fingers where good, and the onion rings were good to, but I peeled off all the breeding. Hubby didn’t complain about his dinner neither did dad they both seemed happy. All the food was served hot and tasted good, so that made a nice little night out.

On Saturday night we got my new Ipod touch, hubby wanted to buy me a Ipod but had to save for it for a little while. He got the nano, which is nice, but I really wanted the touch. So hubby and I agreed I would pay for the difference which is fair. He got himself the nano, so it nice of him to offer to get the same thing for me and if i want something different then it could be me who pays for it.
So We got my Ipod touch at Wal-mart, and their replacement plan, which is good. So we got the Ipod home and I put it on the computer to charge wow it takes a long time for this little battery to charge up from nothing, but it does play a long time after being charged. I had it on all day Tuesday and played with it a lot Sunday. I decided to download 1 game, and 1 map thing, and the rest songs.
The frustrating thing about it when you want to sync it to the computer it doesn’t have a click here to sync. It took me a while to figure it out and I got frustrated with it. I deleted my play list once, and had my list doubled once. So I got a little annoyed then I couldn’t figure out how to add songs to my list. Yeah that was a lot of frustration. Homesharing had us ticked off.
Well I love my ipod touch it’s great, plays loud enough when it not with earphones, and battery lasts a long time. We ended up going to Apple store in Edina, and talked to them. They do appointment only but squeezed us in. Which was nice of them. They got our answers to the question and homesharing actually wasn’t a nightmare like we thought it might be. Hubby had to sign my account into his computer, and keep it with homesharing, and I had to sign his account into the computer, and okay it then sign out and then put his account in homesharing. So know we are sharing music, which is nice because he had several songs or albums i wanted.

On Friday night my husband and I had a little disagreement. He was convinced he could see the cop light flashing at 98th st. from hwy 494 which isn’t exactly possible. What he didn’t explain was that he wasn’t all the way to the hwy and the accident was not all the way down to 98th. So I told him you can not see that far, not even on a good day, or I would have changed roads. Well there are a couple of close little hills to these points and if both are on the top of the hill you can see things. He raised his voice at me, and I yelled at him. Yes I yelled at him, I wasn’t feeling good or at least not emotionally. I stay home all day take care of dad take his crap and then he comes home and is grouchy at me. I just wasn’t in the mood.
Well we made it to our restaurant and frankly I wasn’t talking to him. Until he brought up the church and worship team, and how I was on it.. I didn’t get the email. So he called the leader, and it worked out where hubby just forward me the email. I still was fairly cranky at hubby, and dad. I don’t know why, I feel so uptight Friday. Hubby kept bugging me about wanting to go to the book store, and I told him I didn’t want to until I knew how much I was spending on the Ipod touch we was getting. Well at the restaurant we ran into some one from our congregation. We talked to him for a few minutes, he’s one of those people who seem to put a person in a good mood just by being around them. I don’t know why, everytime I see him if I am in a mood, he normally brights it by a simple hi. So we was eating and waitress came back at the end of dinner and told us one of my customer paid your dinner. Wow, how nice. Well Hubby started feeling bad because of being difficult with me. He wanted to go to target. Wanted to say I am sorry, and get my honey I love you gift. He saved for a little while to be able to help me get a ipod touch. So we went to target.
Okay this is the first place we went wrong. Hubby and I find a ipod touch we liked, and the stuff we wanted. We never came home with it that night because the guy at the register did something wrong and then voided the credit card transaction, even though we told him not to.. Hubby wanted to pay 150, and I was going to pay 108$ pretty much hubby paid the same price he got on his. I got the warranty, and accessories, which I had to pay for. Well the guy at target told us he could do it as 2 transaction. Okay, great well he missed up put it all on hubby card, which meant hubby only had 20$ in that account.. Ouch, so hubby got loud, and sometimes that threatening, which anyone who knows hubby knows he sometimes get loud when frustrated. I do to, so people must think we are going to kill each other but neither one of us get physical with the other. He a good man, but I can see how the guy would have simply froze but shoot he should have called for help if he didn’t know what he was doing. The card company was going to keep a hold on it for 48 hours, which upset hubby. We where taken to customer service, and one of their people dealt with us. He gave us 4 coupon with 3$ off because of how badly the cashier did with dealing with us. He sees us always in there getting our products, so he was concerned that customers like us was upset. And I have had some troubles there which has probably been seen, but i have always been nice, even when one of their cashier was rude with me. So we are know, but even I have moments. The guy at customer service did a great job dealing with hubby, and I took over dealing with him, and got hubby on the phone with the card company. Target faxed a form over to the card company to get hubby money set free.. In the end we got my honey I love you gift from Wal-mart for a little less but more on that later.
We decided against target because walmart was a little lower cost, and the mistake that happened.

My Toshiba laptop has been running so hot lately that its burned me a few times, and now I got a ugly red patch on the top of one of my legs. It not blistered thank goodness because I would bring it in, to Toshiba with my poor legs, and show them, this is running way to hot for safety. My computer has always ran a little on the hot side during the summer doing homework was unpleasant because it makes you feel hot having something hot in your lap.
So I decided to go to newegg.com, goodness I love that site, next on my list is Window7, Visita crashed my poor laptop to many times with the updates it keeps trying to give me, so I am annoyed.
Now with the new cool I think my lap top needs some quick weight loss because it has made it heavy, but I rather that then the other. I love this little cooler, it the same size as mine, it for computer 12 to 17 inches, and it turns around too, so I don’t have to pick it up if I put the laptop on the table and want to show dad or hubby something I can just set it up and turn the computer, no picking up required.
It also adjusts the fan in 5 setting counting when it on the flat setting. The fan is protected so it can’t get a bunch of cat hair from the pants or what have you. I can lay it on the floor and not worry if it hasn’t been vacuumed because between the fan and floor there a barrier.
I am very happy with this product. It takes a lot to keep me happy, I’ve had it for a week. So I will see how long it actually lasts. By the way no matter what I do about the cat hair, I think shaving the cat bowled is the only way to solve the cat hair problem, he sheds on command.
