A couple of weeks ago I had to bring my laptop in for repairs. I will say I am glad I bought the extended warranty at Best Buy, this was a wise decision because when my keyboard “e” key came off I was able to get it fix for free, along with the overheating issue a couple of months ago. I was told it was going to take up to 4 weeks for me to receive my laptop back because they had to send it to Toshiba for repairs. I was worried about this because I am going on Vacation on Saturday which was 2 weeks away from the day I brought it in. We are going to northern Minnesota to a cabin since I couldn’t find the perfect Branson vacation packages for the family. Maybe next year it will work out. I told the Geek Squad person that not good because I am going on vacation and my mother board on the desktop is about to die on me. My motherboard died 2 days later. Ouch, well at least hubby had a desktop I could use until my laptop came back, but that wasn’t going to help for our vacation.
On Tuesday, I checked my email, and had a letter from Geek Squad and told me my stuff was ready for pickup. I didn’t believe it, no way, I had to read that wrong! Well I called my local Best Buy and spoke to them and they told me it was ready for me to come and pick it up. This is great I will have my laptop, which works well for traveling and writing on my blogs. My old laptop would work but it would take a long time to use.
Am I happy with the services provided yes, I still can’t believe I am using my laptop.
