So Yummy, you don’t want to take any home

Last night my husband and I wanted to try a restaurant we haven’t ate at before. We remember there was a restaurant in a nearby city, which a waitress recommended. We food it, and the food was so yummy, you don’t want to take any home, the place we went was Red Moon Chinese Buffet in Eden Prairie MN. The food tasted fresh and smelled good too.
Well we didn’t find it where we thought it was, so we called them for some direction. The guy didn’t sound too sure from where we were at but he got it right. He was very friendly and helpful. We got there and were seated.
I did my normal thing of let them know about the allergies before ordering. When I had told them I had pork allergies they had told me, I could have anything on their menu except for a couple of things or anything with pork included. I found out most of their dishes us chicken for lard. Eggrolls were the other thing I had to stay away from which was fine by me.
I had ordered the mild garlic chicken. Hubby had ordered the medium garlic chicken. The food took a little while to get out, but we was hungry so it probably felt longer then it really was to get out to us. When it did arrive, it was hot, not just hot but steaming hot, and oh my goodness it smelt yummy. You could smell the garlic and other fresh ingredients. The chicken I had was well prepared, and honestly even if I was looking for something to complain about I wasn’t going to find it with the food. The chickens was pleasantly tender. Hubby beef was done pleasantly too.
We started eating and the food was hot not spicy hot but hot. The mild hot garlic was just right for me. I am not a big fan of spicy you could taste the fresh garlic, and onions. It was good and this is my lunch today I can’t wait!
My hubby couldn’t stop talking about the food. We will probably be regular customers there. There food was good. It was hard to control our portion, both hubby and I are on diets.
The lighting in the place was good, it wasn’t Savoy house lighting but it worked. The restaurant looked clean, and the décor was not in a bad state. I liked the picture my hubby and I was seating under it was pretty. The service here was good and I would recommend them to anyone. The cost is fair for what they serve.

Tonight my husband and I went to the Mall of America, we knew it would rain tonight so the mall was the best option. Hubby been needing a better bag for work and dad been bugging me for a new wallet. We saw a place that took care of both needs and the guy was helpful on finding what I needed for dad. This made my life a little easier. Finding a wallet for dad was worst then finding patio furniture. Hubby found a nice bag with enough pockets and it can fit his laptop when he needs to bring it with him.
The guy was nice enough to give a discount on dad wallet because hubby bought a bag even though we did it as two separate transactions. He was helpful which was nice, I told him what I needed and he listen and found something which worked nicely.

Southside Fuel

On Saturday night, we stopped at Southside Fuel in Hackensack MN. We needed to pick up something cold to drink before we hit the cabin, and we were not exactly sure how much further we had to do. I decided when we stopped we didn’t need gas but I needed to wash my windshield off because it was cake on with big bugs. Let me tell you when you have as many bugs as they did up here, you do not want to use your windshield washer it just makes things worst. I could not see out of my window at one point, which kind of bothered me. So we stopped there so I could deal with the car windshield and be able to see better.
We decided to ask for some direction of how much further until we hit our little resort. We were about 15 minutes away, we only had to go to the other end of town. The person there helped us by showing us a map of the area and showing where this little place was, and told us we where close.

Swansons Bait Shop

I we have went to Swansons Bait Shop in Hackensack Minnesota a few times. I like it there, they sale a variety of tourist things, and odd and ends. On most things, they are overpriced but on their tourist stuff, they are reasonably priced. The bait stuff is very reasonably priced. Each time we have been in, they have been very helpful. Tonight we had a boating mishap, and almost capsized the boat. I needed a little bit of first aid, nothing major but I lost my first aid kit. I asked the kid at the register if they cared a first aid kit, and they didn’t but he gave me some of what he had in his kit for my knee this helped me out a lot. I have a mean bruise and a scrap on my knee right now. Plus I am feeling unhappy with my husband right now but oh well I will get over it.
We had to run there more to get him some dry clothes because all of his clothes got wet and he only has one pair of pants. He is now a walking advertisement for Hackensack MN, which is okay. My brand new zip up sweatshirt is all wet now because of the booting mishap. I am hoping it dries out okay and will be dry by tomorrow. At least I wasn’t wearing the t-shirt I bought too. Swansbait shop is a good place to get bait and your tourist stuff if you are visiting Hackensack MN, and they are friendly and helpful when they need to be. They did not have many things for acne treatmentThe lady who help my husband was very compassionate towards him. She earlier this week gave us direction to the headwaters. If I find my way back in Hackensack MN, I will be sure to stop there again.

Big Dipper in Hackensack MN

This post was wrote on vacation, and posted later. We stopped at Big Dipper for a lunch. I will say at first I was worried about what the quality of food would be and if it would be safe to eat there for me. I have food allergies so sometimes trying new things can be trying. We went in and we saw it was an ice cream shop that also served food. The reason why I was worried about the food is most places that specialize in ice cream aren’t going to make very good food. I do not like many places similar to this one. I will say it was a nice surprised. I was glad we found the place. I ordered a BBQ chicken sandwich, and fries. Hubby and Dad both ordered a roast beef sandwich; both hubby and I asked for our fries to be well done, and for dad fries tender. I let our waitress now right away, I was allergic to pork and asked if I would be safe eating there. She said I would be fine and she let the cook now.
She brought our lunches out to us, and my chicken sandwich looked very nice, and tasted just as good as it look. I was surprised how good it looked and tasted. I was not expecting this. Hubby like his roast beef said he liked how they gave him a chunk of meat and not thinly sliced it because this way he could tell he was getting a good cut of meat. The roast beef looked good and it appeared to be juicy. I am not sure if it was but hubby and dad both liked their sandwiches.
The food was served hot, and seemed fresh I am not sure, but the chicken didn’t taste frozen to me but I make frozen chicken all the time and not sure I can tell the different. The French fries were done well, Hubby and I would have preferred a little more cooked but they were close enough to being well done. All the food was served hot. The server did a good job taking care of our table. The restaurant was clean. I would recommend this little place to anyone traveling through Hackensack MN. At dinner I should have talked to my hubby about what he thought buy phentermine since he thinks he knows a lot of information that is useless.

Wow that was fast

A couple of weeks ago I had to bring my laptop in for repairs. I will say I am glad I bought the extended warranty at Best Buy, this was a wise decision because when my keyboard “e” key came off I was able to get it fix for free, along with the overheating issue a couple of months ago. I was told it was going to take up to 4 weeks for me to receive my laptop back because they had to send it to Toshiba for repairs. I was worried about this because I am going on Vacation on Saturday which was 2 weeks away from the day I brought it in. We are going to northern Minnesota to a cabin since I couldn’t find the perfect Branson vacation packages for the family. Maybe next year it will work out. I told the Geek Squad person that not good because I am going on vacation and my mother board on the desktop is about to die on me. My motherboard died 2 days later. Ouch, well at least hubby had a desktop I could use until my laptop came back, but that wasn’t going to help for our vacation.
On Tuesday, I checked my email, and had a letter from Geek Squad and told me my stuff was ready for pickup. I didn’t believe it, no way, I had to read that wrong! Well I called my local Best Buy and spoke to them and they told me it was ready for me to come and pick it up. This is great I will have my laptop, which works well for traveling and writing on my blogs. My old laptop would work but it would take a long time to use.
Am I happy with the services provided yes, I still can’t believe I am using my laptop.

I guess if there are apidexin reviews on line then I can right a review about my cell phone company. I order last weekend a samsung Comeback the White Pearl. I am not ready to write a review on that one just yet, I am not done playing around with it.
Ordering from T-mobile isn’t hard but its not exactly easy. I first went to the page, before I stopped at a store to look at the phones I thought I might like on line. Here’s what I do not like about ordering on line some products its good if you can see what you are dealing with, what it feels like and how it looks on the inside. On line you do not get this and well frankly you gotta call customer service or stop at the store. The reason why I shop on line there is so I do not have to pay for the product right away and it gets placed on my bill which makes my life a little easier.
I had no troubles ordering on line, and I got my cellphone well before they told me I would, so that made me happy. My phone arrived and I was able to set it up and use it pretty much right away. Online is nice because if you do not want to deal with their automated phone thing then you can just go on line and look around for what is needed. Speaking of this I need to get paperless billing or I going to have to start paying for the paper form.
I have found t-mobile website a lot easier to use then many other companies but then again it might be that I am used to it.

Angenos in Rogers MN

Last night for date night my husband and I found another place to have dinner. I am glad we did find another place to have dinner, then where we normally go. Hubby and I went to Rogers because dad went with a family friend, although last night is the last time he going with them. I have had it with the anger when hubby and I go out no matter what we do. We first went to Cabelles, I am telling you if you need a fishing pool go there they have some good sales. I only spent 60 bucks on fishing pools because we found some great sales. But back to dinner.
We decided to drive a round for a little while, and see what we could find. We saw a Linda’s and Angenos in the same stripe mall for a lack of better word, We didn’t like Linda’s menu, there was to many things hubby and I would have reacted negatively to and plus they where closing soon. So we decided to try Angenos. They are a Italian place, pizza and pasta pretty much and they had a few other choices. They had a lot of choices and where willing to substitute for me, which made me happy. Our waitress understood food allergies so when I explained to her I was allergic to pork she got it. When hubby told her, he couldn’t eat mushrooms she understood it. My husband and I always tease our wait staff that we are going to be the pain in their necks or the most difficult customer of the evening. She told us that we was easy compared to one of her nephews, who was allergic to everything. It seems when we get waiters or waitress have experience with allergies they get it a lot easier and they think about things which most people would not have thought about if they haven’t experienced allergies. She was very nice took our orders, and got them right.
I had a salad and I have to say I was impressed most places I have to pick out some of the lettuce because it does not look very good. Here I did not need to pick at it, and their croutons which normally I do not eat I couldn’t help but eat it. They where to good to pass up tasted very fresh, so I liked them. I order a four cheese something can’t remember the name, with garlic bread and hubby order spaghetti, with cheese garlic bread. I ate half of my meal, but I do not eat very much it wasn’t like the portions where very large, I would say had I not ate the salad my main meal would have been about right for a single serving. It was served nice and hot and tasted good. I had to wait a few minutes before eating because it was so hot but I rather that then not hot enough to last for the last bite u want to eat. It was very good. The restaurant looked clean and well kept. Most of our staff where young but they did a great job. I am not sure maybe late high school age to early college age young and they did a great job . The only place I did not go into was the bathroom, so I can’t tell you if they had Saniflo toilet. Overall we where very happy with the place, and we plan on going back again for dinner sometime when we are in the area.

Lunds Butchers

I go to Lunds to get my beef because I know what is safe. We have one in Bloomington MN near where I live. I have recently added beef into my diet, and sometimes when you add new foods in your diet you don’t have a clue about it. Other then if its cooked wrong it can taste bad or make you sick, if its cooked right it tastes great, and you want more then you aught. It similar to understanding prevera and what it does if you understand what your working with or what it good for you can use it effectively.
Well I went up to the butcher and I asked him what is the different between a flank stake and some other type of stake they both looked similar to me and I simply couldn’t tell the difference just by looking at the stupid pieces of meat. He explained the difference and told me that the flank stake is good for sterfry. Well that gave me a idea and boy does it smell good now if it tastes this good as a bbq sandwhich well have something yummy tonight.
The butcher was helpful in showing me the difference of the 2 meats and was kind about answering stupid question. I am pretty sure they must think I am dumb but I know nothing tastes worst then food cooked poorly. Thankfully many ideas I come up with work nicely. I think the bbq sauce I picked might be spicy and thinking about dinner hubby running late.
I will probably always get my meat from Lunds because I know I can trust them.

BP somewhere outside of Madison

On our way down we had to stop at BP travel plaza on 94 outside of Madison. Normally I will not stop at BP because I have gotten bad gas once from there, and had to deal with a big miss of water in the gas tank. So it been a long time. Last time I filled up at a BP station I didn’t even make it to the halfway point when I found out something was seriously wrong with the car. I couldn’t figure it out and when I brought it in i found out what was wrong. I was not a happy camper since my tank was on E when I filled it up with gas. So I decided to not go unless I have to, and Friday it was more of a thing of we need beverages and I need gas so I need to stop and don’t want to look for the other gas station off the exit. Let me tell you I hope to never repeat a long road trip with the therostate not working correctly, it was not pleasant at all.
It was so hot that no one would be able to fall a sleep in the car, I am not sure which was worst the heat in the car or the rain coming into the window. We had to keep the windows down to keep the heat from getting overpowering. I guess if there was a www.sleepingpillreviews.org for the car with the hottest heat this would win.
We got some nice beverages from the BP and we where able to find what we needed, and use the bathrooms. The woman bathroom where clean and didn’t smell like the typical gas station that has a bad smell even though it a woman’s bathroom. It was at least clean and didn’t smell overly bad. I was surprised I didn’t have to go in and pay after dark it was nice many stations up in the cities make you go inside or pay at the pump and I really just wanted to do it as one transaction not two at the stations. I was happy the station let me do it the easy way.
I was overall happy with the customer service now hopefully nothing goes wrong with the gas. BP seems to be always higher in price then other gas stations.
