  • I like my Candies

    Posted on by Gav

When we first moved out here we stopped at a near by store. We saw these cinnamon candies, Little Red Devils. Yes I like my candies, it a miracle I do not weight 600 pounds I could use someaeropostale coupons for all the candies I enjoy eating. I eat them in moderation so I am not to bad at it. Lets see the little red devils are designed as little devils, they have a very good cinnamon flavor to them, and they are soft. I like chewing on them while studying or reading homework. They have a mild cinnamon flavor so I can eat several at one sitting and not worry about my tongue or gums getting sore.

  • BigK Dr. K

I have to say this is pretty good. It not exactly like Dr. Pepper but it is good. I wouldn’t mind having some coupons for some good pop and I would go for Dr. K because it is pretty good. I have noticed most of the Dr. P off brands are similar styled to it. There is a BigK circle on the can or bottle. I am glad we tried it. We got it from Fred Meyers, I have to say I like this off brand of pop and if I need Dr. Pepper and can’t offered it this is a good compromise.
So I am happy with this soda pop, good work BigK Dr. K

  • Noodles & Company

Last night my husband and I ate at Noodles and company in Clackmas Town center for our date night. They have gluten free options, but be warned if you are severally allergic to wheat this might not be the best place for you. They are not as clean as a Surgeon Jobs would be before surgery, they might cross contaminate. I am gluten free have been for a while. They have rice noodles there and they where good. Well prepared.
My husband had the penne Rosa, with meat. He liked and and said it all tasted good. I had the pesto cavatappi. I enjoyed my meal. It was well prepared not complaints. The cashier was friendly and helpful. I am happy with our overall experience there.

  • Dr. Shasta

I have to say No thank you to Dr. Shasta. My husband said it tasted like bad cooking oil and kerosene. I think it tastes like unspeakable things, it has a horrible after taste. I bought the regular Dr. Shasta. They have added fake sugars and it does no good with the sugars already in the pop. It tastes nothing like Dr. Pepper or Mr. Pibb warning Dr. Pepper fans do not try Dr. Shasta. You will be disappointed and lift desiring for the real thing. So here it is Oh Yuck, and thank goodness it was only 2.60$ or I would have been upset had it be more expensive. I do not even think it worth 25c for a 12pack.

  • Carmel Sunday anyone

    Posted on by Gav

My husband and I went for a walk tonight. We walked up to Crispy Cream Donuts. Yeah I am probably spelling everything wrong tonight. I used to love them when I was able to eat all the donuts I wanted. We both had the same thing. It hit the spot I been wanting ice cream for a while but can’t have it at home if I want any of it. I asked them if I could order their Ice Cream sundaes and keep wheat free. We figured I probably could so I ordered my Caramel ice cream sundaes.
I don’t know maybe the girl was having a off night. At least she wasn’t rude, and I wasn’t asking her for skin care products, I asked to keep my health good. Sometimes you can tell the ones who do not understand food allergies. The ice cream was good and so was the caramel with bananas.

  • Buffalo Wild Wings in Mall of America

Tonight we decided it was chicken night at the mall. You can get a lot at MOA not sure if you can find anything on promise ring etiquette but maybe you can, who knows. Well it took a while for us to get our orders in but that’s okay. Our waitress asked us if we where served and we said no, she apologized. I didn’t really care that it took a little while for them to serve us, because I was talking to my hubby.
We order our usual. It came nice and hot and tasted good. My usual is Sweet BBQ and Honey BBQ hubby is garlic. We had a order of fries. The most interesting thing was the 100 flavor coke machine. I had raspberry and vanilla coke. Hubby had Lime. Well the first one I had ended up being lime by mistake. No wonder why it tasted wrong. Overall we had a pretty good experience.

  • Mi-Del Arrowroot Cookies

    Posted on by Gav

These are supposed to replace animal crackers that I sometimes like to eat. I have to say I am kind of disappointed in the cookie. They are not horrible, they are okay I guess they will do in a pinch until I find something better. Just like looking for a good checkcity.com cash advance finding gluten free products is challenging it can be done but must try and investigate or ask others their opinions.
These are in shapes of animals similar to animal crackers. They have no real taste and maybe the texture feels a little stall. I don’t know they just don’t have the same crunchiness that I wanted. They did taste good with peanut butter on them. They are very thin too, so maybe they are simply to different for me to appreciate them yet. They are not bad but I don’t know they just not good. They do not reach my sweet tooth neither. Guess these will not be brought with on our week long move.

  • Mike and Ike Original fruits

    Posted on by Gav

I decided to get a package of mike and ike’s that included hot tamales in the package. They are single wrapped so they are good for just having a small treat. If I had a Caméscopes numériques I would show you how many we get in a little package. I liked the fruit ike and mike they where good. I still do not like orange but I don’t like orange candy to begin with, I like red and light red or what ever caller it is. Green and yellow are the color which are a hit or miss, but I like these. I wished I would have just got the hot tamales those would have been better but these are still good.
The packaging is prefect for just a small serving of candy.

  • Can’t have cookie so I guess i take chocolate

    Posted on by Gav

The other day I had a Hershey caramel chocolate candy bar. I was wanting cookies but the store I was in did not have any that where gluten-free. I would love a cookie gift basket but I know it would end up going to me. I wonder if any companies will ever make one that gluten-free. I have a sweet tooth. I will say the Hershey Candy bar was very sweet, almost too sweet but it was still good. I enjoyed it. It not ideal for a hot day because it just melts that much faster. I wonder if it be to hard if it was thrown into the freezer.
I will probably get the hershey caramel again. It was good.

  • GodFather’s Pizza

    Posted on by Gav

Last night my husband and I went to Godfathers in Burnsville MN, we decided to give them a try after a friend of mine told me they have gluten-free pizza. We figured it be good to try it out. We called before going, I was shocked to learn that their gluten-free pizza was shipped in and frozen. So I just bought a frozen pizza for them to make me, oh well at least it tasted better then I thought it would taste. The staff there were very helpful and understood their products and what I could or could not have. They also had a sign on my pizza instruction servers and cooks not to cross contaminate it with other stuff. I was glad I didn’t need any breakdown service after eating there, it been awhile since I been able to have pizza out to eat. There’s only one other place and yes I prefer the other place but GodFathers Pizza is okay. It didn’t have a fresh pizza taste, but it tasted better then the store bought pizzas I can have that I do not much care for.

My husband and dad were happy with their pizza too.
I was disappointed that I only got a one option which worked for me which was cheese, I couldn’t get the veggie type pizza because they only offered Pizzas with meats or cheese pizza so I stuck with a cheese pizza. This was disappointing but the service was good. I hope Godfather comes up with more gluten-free options and maybe eventually make the dough fresh in store and not frozen form Goodness knows where.
