  • Guitar my reliever

    Yep the guitar is my reliever I have played for a few years. I am not good, I can do simple cording. I can do scales and a few other things but I wouldn’t call myself a good guitar player. I am okay. I got one this week that I couldn’t see or play it before hand, I wouldn’t recommend doing this, it could end badly. I know eventually I will need some dr neon guitar strings I like the light or medium waited strings best. I am not sure what I will pick with my new one. It seems to depend on the guitar to me. Which is strange, my acoustic one I preferred medium and on semi acoustic electric I liked light strings. Strange, still haven’t figured out why it would matter to me. So probably end up liking medium strings.

    I am disappointed! Lets see, these are supposed to last 3 hours, is that a joke or are they actually supposed to last three hours. I have now tried 2 different ways the way the package tells me and the way I figured might help. Maybe I should look at some youtube download see if they have some visual instruction because I have got to be doing something seriously wrong for it to well not burn correctly or not long at all. I think the longest was about 2 1/2 hours, what happened to my last 30 minutes of time on this log I kind of would like it. So I think it’s clear I am disapointed.

    Lets see one of the Logs fall a part while on fire, thank goodness my fireplace is good. Oh forget about adding a second log because clearly this batch it wouldn’t be very wise. I have added fire wood in while it been burning towards the end. This seems to help make the fire last longer. We spent 20$ a box, I think I would have been better off spending money on duraflame.

  • Baby Gifts

    I do not have many friends with babies on the way however right now if I did the only way I would be able to get a gift would be baby gifts online. For the most I prefer looking at what I am getting this being said if online is cheaper I just might get it online after looking at it in a store. I know a few woman expecting but none of them I know well enough. When I worked with autistic children I loved looking at baby gifts because sometimes these gift would work great in the class room setting.

  • Born Lippy Raspberry Lip Balm from The Body Shop

    Not Raspeberry enough, but it does make my lips fill better. It is a nice reddish pink color, and goes smoothly on my lips. If I wore red lipsticks this would make it shine nicer. I will probably get the lip balm again maybe even try another flavor. I do not taste raspberry, there a fruity taste but it doesn’t bring to mind raspberry.

  • The Body Shop in Clackamas Mall OR

    The other day my husband and I walked around the mall, and I saw this little shop that struck my interest. Trust me it wasn’t all that interesting but there was a few things my husband and I decided to try. The lady who worked there was friendly and answered our questions. She made a couple of suggestions for us. I was surprised at everything they had in there, it was a wide range of stuff, they even had stuff that detangles hair, lotions, perfumes, lip stuff, but no real make up that I found.
    The customer service was great there and she was friendly.

  • It’s about time

    I order some books on October 23rd from Amazon. One of the books I got from a third party. Both of the books were mailed on the 28th of October. So I was thinking they would both be here on the same day! Wrong again. The first book came on the first week of the month early in the week. The second book came on the 16th of Nov, 2 weeks later. I ended up calling Amazon and was told I had to contact PBshopUS who was the third party but had to do this through E-mail. Okay I don’t want to do email the book needs to be here NOW not later. I was pretty upset with the whole situation. I was surprised how quickly PBshopUS had answered my email. They gave me a couple things I needed to do first just incase the post office had it. I decided to once again call the apartment manager and make sure my book wasn’t in the office. Sure enough DHL had dropped it off which is why i had no noticed of it being there. DHL is horrible, I do not recommend them. Everytime they deliver anything I never get my stuff in a timely manner even though the package says time sensitive material. So I would like DHL definition of time sensitive!
    Good thing I didn’t order a carhartt coats its a little on the cool side here and I’d be very made if I was cold because of DHL. For now on I will say please do not use DHL on all my orders.
    Will i order from PBshopUS I might try them again and see what happens, not sure yet. This is the first time I have had issues, and their customer reviews have always been high. They treated me kindly through email, and responded to me faster then they claimed. So this is Redeeming.

  • Revlon nail kit

    I am not happy with this little kit, the only thing good is the buffer and nail clipper. The cuticle cutter does not work at all, it is so dull its annoying. the nail clipper works well and is good for my finger size so it will be okay. I need a cutticle cutter for my fingers but I will have to get a different one that actually sharp. The revlon one is hurting me when I try to use it. I wonder if a metal buildings would cut my cuticles better.

  • Still have gotten nothing

    I am not a horrible wife, I almost think that the move is the anniversary gift ideas for husband this year. Well maybe all the clothes I just got him would count towards that. I don’t even think we really celebrated our anniversary this year. We were to busy getting ready to move to Oregon. Our anniversary was on the 13th of August and we moved on the 21st of August, so must of our time was spent packing. Got almost a year before our next anniversary and I will have to figure out what to do. I have a few ideas. I guess this year our anniversary was spent traveling on the road and the couple of stops we made. I want to go back to Yellowstone National park and actually spend a few days there just looking at the fun things, but not in my little Kia. I love my car but moving across country with a tiny car was to say the least not the best experience. My Kia did great in the mountains, it would have been fine if it was just my husband and I moving.

  • Some nice gifts

    One of my favorite personalized wedding gifts, was when we had a picture painted of us. I have seen other personalized gifts for children too. They have always interested me. I have a couple of friends who recently got married and I am thinking about maybe doing something like this for them. They might appreciate it. A personalized gift can show how much you know a person. It can be silly or serious it doesn’t matter just as long as it reflects the person. If I was to do one of my husband right now I would make him into a book.
    One of my friends has a few children. I would do something that shows her new family, with her new hubby and share how they are alike.

  • Wrong color

    My husband wanted a particular shirt when we went shopping. They where out of the color he liked, it was a steel blue, very nice light blue color. Well yesterday we ran over to pick up his shirt, and it was a dark blue, so now we have to wait again and run back to JC Penny’s. Ordering on line his shirt cost me only 7$ yeah amazing I know. I mean I don’t know if a kmart coupons would cut the cost by that much. The shirt was already on sale for 24.99 and went down to 7$. Wow I didn’t need any coupons with this purchase. My husband and I tend to wait until the weekends to buy new clothes because that seems to be when most of the sales will happen.
    Now don’t get me wrong if there was a k-mart near by I might go to that to look at options.

    Our experience with JC Pennys was okay for the most part. I am not sure how the shirt got to be the wrong color maybe it was a typo or something. I am not sure. Maybe the first cashier did not understand what my husband really wanted. Who knows I do know my husband doesn’t always communicate clearly what he wants. Jc Penny’s was willing to fix the error so I am happy with them. I enjoy their sales I was able to get a lot more then I thought I would be able to.
