  • I need shoes

It is hard to find a good pair of cheap shoes, I have no dress shoes. I hate wearing them. I need them to help me getting jobs and other things. I rather wear tennies. I found a nice pair of shoes at Walmart thank goodness. Walmart had them for under 10 and I found a pair I like for 32$ but I decided not to get it. I forgot to look for a couple items, not that I need cupless lingerie but I needed to be in that area, I just hate having my hubby with and him trying to help me find stuff. He doesn’t get woman sizes.

  • Father day soon

Dad loves fruits and berries one of the few things that don’t make his gums hurt unless he eats to much at once. I am going to have to look into getting a gift baskets for dad that he would enjoy. I can’t overlook him to often. I been so busy with school and other things he feeling a bit neglected. He been grumpy, and I am about to tell him no pizza if he keeps it up. He would love a pizza as a gift dad loves pizza. If I fed it to him daily along with his whitecastle min burgers I get from target he be in heaven. Now I am a good daughter in law and I won’t just feed him what he wants, pizza and burgers everyday isn’t good for him as a treat it is fine.
No father day not soon, what am I thinking. Hanukkah hasn’t even came and gone yet. I could get him a basket for Hanukkah and he would appreciate it. I will need to get him something to color too.

  • Renpure conditioner red bottle

My hair feels and smells good. The conditioner smells the same as the shampoo. It is mildly scented with all natural. I do not have to time it on a bulova watches

  • Renpure Organics Shampoos

I decided to give this a try. I got the red bottle that says “my pretty here is parched moisturizing shampoo”. I will write about the conditioner in a later post. I am wondering if I am smelling a hint of baby powder because it reminds me of that. However there are other smells to it. It has a milder smell so its nice. The shampoo works pretty good, it seemed a little hard to get it to lather correctly the first time. I will notbuy montecristo cigars to see if this shampoo can cover that smell. this shampoo is gluten free, sulfates, parabens, dyes and phthalates, proplene and Glycol free, which is why I tried it. Surprisingly it has not broken me out. I am glad they are gluten free, my husband actually found it.

I am not sure what I think about the smell, it seems to be working okay for my hair.

  • Eureka Pet Vacuum

    Posted on by Gav

About a month ago my husband and I decided to get a Eureka pet Vacuum. I am so glad we did, it picks up the pet hair. I got it through amazon for more then half off, so it was a good deal. Almost a steal, its nice being able to buy things for the house on amazon I don’t have to worry if there abarcode scanner or anything I click and go.

What I like about this vacuum cleaner:
    1. It picks up pet hair. I have two pets, a long haired cat, and a short haired dog. Both seem to be able to shed on command.
    2. It has not clogged on me yet, and I’ve used it two to three times a week. Other vacuum cleaners I have used have frustrated me within the month it would not pick up as well. Now I live in a small 2 bedroom apartment, so if the place is large it may not work as well.
    3. It is very light weight, and it runs on the floor very easily. I can pick it up if needed and since it light weight it seems to move smoothly along my rug.
    4. I love the color its purple, my favorite color the overall appreciated I like.

    What I do not like.

    1. The electric cord is not long enough for my small apartment. A few more feet would have been nice. This is not a large place, my last apartment I would have struggled with vacuuming with out unplugging multiple times.
    2. The bagless compartment seems to clump all of the stuff in the top and it doesn’t drop down to the bottom.

Overall I am happy with this vacuum cleaner. The few dislikes I have of it can be tolerated. So far the only allergy issue I have is cleaning the bagless bag because of how the dirt clumps but that easy enough to deal with. It is a nice looking machine.

  • Wow it works

I have some really bad blisters on my feet, there not painful, itchy or anything, just ugly and unsightly. A couple days ago I started using a bar for the feet that I got at a little store in the nearby mall. Fresh Rain Body and Bath. It was a bar meant for the feet and has coca butter, Shea butter and 2 different massage oils, oh my goodness. It made my feet feel better, and my bad blister seem like they are going away along with the dry skin. Shoot I could have used my rough feet to polish some eagle alloys custom wheels that how bad they where getting. The bar smells good and boy it works. Once it warms in your hands or on the foot it starts leaving it oils on the foot and then stays there were the good just sucks up all the nice moister. Oh boy does it work nicely.

  • Stanford Restaurant in Happy Valley OR

A couple weeks ago my husband and I found this little restaurant. They have a all day happy hour on Sunday, so we decided to take dad to it. We had steak bites and the combo fries. I think we have found a new favorite my husband orders it with their blackberry bbq sauce I order it with the way it comes.
This week our waiter did a good job, but then again we knew what we could eat and could not eat. I let him know about the gluten allergy and that was about it. We had another good experience. They play sports there I wonder if they ever play anything on the raceways. Sometimes I like auto racing but don’t care for most sports.

  • Clarks Family Restaurant

In Livingston MT, we arrived late. I have to admit I didn’t want to go to far away form the hotel. So we decided to go to the little restaurant in the same area that Quality INN was and several other hotels. I have to say I was disappointed in their menu options. There was not much I could eat. I have to say dinner was most disappointing for me! I could have cried! Oh well, that the price I pay for being Gluten and pork free. I ended up with a dinner salad. Okay the dinner salad was more like a tiny side salad. When I think dinner salad I think of a salad big enough to fill a person. I also ordered cottage cheese, that was a small bowl. Okay that fine with me I can deal with that. All I know is I lift rather hungry when I started there hungry.
What disappointed me was that their menu had no real options for any of us. My husband found something that works which he would like to try at home but using gluten free. Dad had french toast those looked and smelled good. He seemed happy with them.
The waitstaff was pretty good. Our waitrist understood food allergies and warned me away from everything except for the two items I ate. I guess it’s kind of sad. I will give her credit for knowing the menu and knowing what was in different products. So customer service was great this is a plus. I would not recommend this place for anyone who needs to be gluten free, or who allergic to pork proteins you will have a rough time eating but the waitstaff are friendly.

  • Family restaurant across the street from Washington INN

    Posted on by Gav

Let me start by saying don’t go to the closest one to Washington INN that shares the same parking lot. It is more expensive and has pretty much the same items. Last night we got in and were hungry, I was done driving and wanted to give my breaks a chance to cool. I did not right them down the hill but they smelled.
So we went to the first Family Dining in Keystone SD. Their Menu my family of 4, would not have walked out spending less them 70$. We are moving across country if we was vacationing maybe we could but I just think over 20$ per person, per just the food, not counting beverages is alittle to much. I guess the hotel price isn’t getting you but the food cost will.
The little Restaurant across the street is your best bet, we spend about 42$ on my family there including a nice little tip. Our waitress was from Jamaica, she was a sweet heart. Made dad and use feel welcomed, she really had the customer service down.
The food was good, served hot and fresh. The fries for my husband and I would have been better if they were more crispy but that is okay. They did a good job overall.
There are other restaurants down the strip but we had dad with us and wanted the closes to the hotel.

  • American Inn Worthington MN

The place closest to our old home was the most expensive, but we needed to do that because of the cat. The other place with all the deposits and other fees would have been just as expensive there and was very rude. I decided it would be American INN, it was quoted at 160, buy ended up being 148.00$.Now that made me happy.

What I like the rooms were clean. There was a couple things in the bathroom but I am thinking it more stains than anything. The derby was going on in Worthington and our rooms were very quiet. You could not hear your neighbors, and it was just quiet. They welcomed my cat and dog. They where polite and courteous. Overall it was a good experience, on a scale of 1-10, 1 being bad and 10 being perfect I would rank this this way.
cleanliness 9. Just because of the bathroom, it was clean but the stains made it look not as clean.
Breakfast food, I would rank a 5. Why so low, I wasn’t impressed with the options they had for me. I am gluten free and only could have hard boiled eggs and yogurt. I am not a big fan of cold hard boiled eggs. It would have been nice if they had some kind of none wheat cereal. Overall breakfast would have been great with out my allergies.
Customer services a all around 10, they did a great job with us. Every interaction we had was positive. I do not recall hubby or I becoming annoyed once.
The cost 6, just because it so expensive to stay there, but I guess you get what you pay for more on that in another review.
The wireless internet I can not rate because when we finally got to our room, we were exhausted.
I would recommend this to anyone who has the money to spend on hotels. They are a good hotel.
