It seems dad likes to go to the ER, if he would just listen to us and drink his water. He wouldn’t have to go for dehydration. I have to say I am impressed with how quickly the ER got him out. Grant it, it was late at night but still not as long as it would have been in MN. We did learn a couple of things this last time they came and got dad. Which i will be talking about in another post her shortly.
I just have to say they have done a great job with dad.
These are probably the cheapest batteries I can find. I got them at the dollar store, they are not as good as duracell procell c but they really do work pretty good very good for a buck. I have had the same set of batteries in my keyboard for the last month and the last set of batteries a different brand only lasted two weeks and I hate to say it it’s the lease expensive one that lasting the longest. Now if that’s not a kick in the pants, I guess sometime the more expensive isn’t always the best. I wil say Duracell I have used a lot and that is one of the longest lasting brands for me.
So far so good! No reactions yet! This is a good thing, I was very worried about eating her because I know they make a lot of wheat products so I was a little worried about cross contamination. I have noticed I have to be very careful what places I go to when we eat out. I think Old Spaghetti Factory is a place I can add on my list of okay. I was impressed with them including a tag to say that it was gluten free with even the brand of pasta they used. The pasta was very good. They make there product everyday so it fresh and good. Tonight I had a salad, and their brown butter mitzeal cheese or something. I can’t remember the name of it. Anyways it was very good. The pasta had a nice texture and flavor. I normally do not add salt and pepper but I needed too it was a little to bland for me.
My husband had classic spaghetti he liked it, and the meat was rich meat topping. We both ate the entire thing.
The things that went well was our waiter was kind, and kept us updated on the status of our order. He made sure I had enough water and pop to get me through my meal. The first pop I drank so fast I think he was worried about getting enough beverages to me because he brought a third one to me before I got though my 2nd one finish.
The only thing I did not like was the noise leave in the place, it was very loud to me. Now I am sensitive to noise more then most. So I will not fault them. Everyone was friendly and curious.
I play 2 games from Kabaam, Dragon of Atlas and Thirst of Night. Dragon of Atlas has more problems then anything. Right now I have lost pretty much all of my troops but yet my city is eating like they home. 2 of my dragons are out somewhere with those troops. Hmm kindof hard to farm. I guess I won’t be able to play till they fix their latest glitch. This game is full of them and it getting annoying Maybe they need to do something about it like test the game before releasing updates.
So far thirst of night is better, less glitches. I have lost troops with power which should be expected. For the most I haven’t had to many glitch problems. Maybe they need some best sunless tanning spray for their vampires to look more a live, but you don’t see any toons or anything. Would I recommend these two games no its like watching grass grow but at least it can give me a break from homework when i need.
I have a couple of these. I am surprise I still have one of them I brought from MN its at least 2 yrs old now. I have one from August too. I am used to things similar to this drying out on me. So its nice to see it last this long with out having to replace them. Now pretty soon I might need to replace them.
I have decided to update on Winco Foods near me. Now since we have been here a while, and been going there for some things. I understand now more about them. They do not take credit cards unless they can be used by a pin like debit card type thing. They do take checks and cash. This now is not to much of a inconvience if you plan for it. I wouldn’t by any spray tan there because on body products they seem a little more expensive then they ought to be. For the most people are helpful when you ask them question. I have never had a rude customer service experience yet. So I have to say my impression of them has improved a lot since the first night we moved in our new place.
I have been taking on line classes at Bellevue University in NE, I love the program. Sometimes I get annoyed but I have had a good experience overall in their Master of Clinical Counseling.
Here are the things I like about my program.
First most of my professors have been timely in responding to questions or concern. One of my professors I have had has actually answered and sought out answers from others when he hasn’t had the answer about things not really related to his class but that had caused me some stress. This showed me that the professors cared about as a student and as a individual. Overall I have enjoyed almost all of my professors and honestly I can count the ones I haven’t to happy with on less then 1 hand.
The second thing I like, is I can call any of my advisers and normally find a answer. Right now I am frustrated with my academic adviser, but it more because of a lack of answers for them, and causing me to not know what I will do in the summer.
The third thing I like about the program is it is flexible I can do my assignments when I want to. I do not have to commute to a college campus to get lectures or interaction with my professor. It is simple to communicate with them, or fellow students.
The fourth thing I appreciate it is when I talk to friends in traditional school I often hear, “You have more homework then I, or more requirements” this is nice. To know because I know I am getting maybe a little bit more then my friends at traditional university.
Some things I do not like.
First is each professor has a different style, and sometimes I lose points like this week because I did what I always do. Submit my personal assignments then a day or so respond to peers. One of my professor wanted me to respond on the same day to some discussion question. Okay I can do that, it’s easy enough. Just never been docked points for not doing something.
The second thing I do not like is sometimes the classes I want like example one of my Assessment classes isn’t offered in the summer, and I can’t move forward to my capstone classes. I want to take at least one class in the summer time.
The third frustration is there is no scholarships for graduate students that I do not know, so I am going into deep debt.
The fourth thing I do not like, which can’t be helped probably is the fact the school has little contact with people in Oregon where I live. So I have to find all my Internships on my own. Now I think this problem resolved because it seems my practicum site liked me and pretty much offered to have me back. So I laid a good foundation it would be nice if the school could help with finding placements.
The Fifth dislike I have is there are a couple of professors who do not provide timely feedback, who do not respond to question regarding assignments. When they do respond they are slightly rude, or difficult like Read the manual. Sometimes I am temped to send back a email I wouldn’t be asking questions if I hadn’t read the manual I don;t get what the manual saying! But that would get me in trouble.
As you can tell most of my dislikes are probably normal for any student at any college. Its not uncommon. I would recommend BU to any student who needs the online format and a flexible schedule. My only recommendation is to be self motivated.
We like this little bakery it’s gluten-free so I get to eat there and not worry. They had this thin mint cookie type thing, shaped in a shamrock. Boy it tastes pretty close to the thin mint girl scout cookies which I miss. I guess I now have to watch so I do not become to chunky with finding some many good options there.
Thank goodness there prices are fairly reasonable grant it I could cook this stuff for less then buying it but hey its done and reasonable. Its not like it the price of gold, which you have to search at places like buy gold online at Golden Eagle to find the best prices. Now I don;t know if they have the best price but they would be one place to look.
Let me start by saying, I am slightly disappointed. The battery only lasted one day, so we had to put the other batteries that came with it. It already burned out. I got this from petco. I will not be getting this brand again. The animals enjoy playing with laser lights the dog goes crazy. Otis I think he’s more interested in smacking the dog on the arse or catching her tail. Otis is naughty later. The dog sleeps but the cats not gonna have it. He wont play with the light he actually looks at me like are you kidding I am not chasing it. Let the dog go after that thing, and I will go after the dog in turn.
I am not so happy with them any more. They have decided to charge my account 5$ a month for servicing fees. Seriously I have yet to bounce my account, I only get money every few months and I don’t over use my account and yet I have to pay for their customer service. Well that not working for me, I had a place to save money not spend more money. I guess it time to look at other options. I was happy when they were totally free. Unless I could keep over 500 a month in that account they want to charge it and I just don’t have money to keep that in. Maybe I would not care if I could have that much money on a daily basis in the account then money wouldn’t be a big concern.
I am good with money, I have my own budge, even our insurance agent was surprised I had a budge we where following I wonder how many clients of cpa firm raleigh nc keep their own budgets and start it on their own with out any help. I do not know any one like me.
